11/8 Marley Lantus AMPS 210, +2 222, PMPS 154, +2 112, +4 67, +5 79

I am about to put in an order for insulin. Is there any reason to think Marley would do better on another type of insulin? I feel like hes making progress now, but wanted to ask experienced people before making the order

Just still a bit shaken from the other night hypo.

I want to see if he goes below 50 to know whether he needs to go down a dose again. But obvs I dont want him to go lower than 50.

Any thoughts?

It probably wouldn’t hurt to test again since he could still go lower? Maybe at +5 or 6 if it’s not too late? Are you feeding any higher carbs right now? I’m wondering if a bit of MC wouldn’t hurt right now if you are worried about more limes? Wishing you and Mar Lei good luck!

Thank you so much for your thoughts and good wishes. I will test at +5 and take it from there. He dropped 45 mg/dl in 2 hours. I guess that is quite fast. Maybe I should test sooner than +5

I didnt want to give him higher carbs yet, as I think he is in good numbers. If he can sustain the low without going too low, that is ideal. But I guess its early to be so low.

What are 'limes'?

+5 79

Does this mean he is bouncing as it is so early relatively in the cycle to have had his nadir?

I guess it means I am free to go to bed!

Thank you so much for your response.
He’s only had his normal LC food. So that’s good news!
He has some really late nadirs and some really early ones and anything on between.
Oh of course! ....Re the limes........ I think I’ve even asked that before and then totally forgotten. Hope I remember from now!

Thanks again

Lime is the color on the spreadsheet for bg below 50 (maybe more like bright green?) Yes if you can stay safe without resorting to higher carbs that is probably best! Good luck
