What a nice PM surf Mannie had - despite the raid on the left-over cake from the baby shower: a +1 face plant in the frosting. :shock: Never ever turn your back on a kitty that is pacing the kitchen, meowing at a rather high decibel, with "that look" in their eyes... It took 30 seconds, once I had turned my back, for Mannie to run the distance, leap onto the table, and do a face plant in the frosting. I have never seen a tongue lick frosting that fast. Hog heaven for the Manster.... So - nice to see a 168 this morning... I hope it is the start of a return to the blues and the greens that have remained elusive for a few cycles. GO Mannie! :-D

well lets see..... :shock: the "I hate time changes" continues. yesterday they started at 3AM, this morning it was 3:30. Whoa - and take me back!: an improvement. Even so, they were relentless: meows that grew in intensity, bed kneading. At least this morning I was spared the claws in the face. :o I finally caved, after 45 minutes of cat torture, and got up. Shesshhh - put food in their face and they will love you forever. :-D The rest of Mannie's morning = normalcy in mannieland: breffis #1 gone (duh!), #2 gone, waiting on #3. Mannie is currently spread out on his nanners, with several cookbooks propped up, muttering something about needing a recipe for coconut cake, which he heard last night from Jill's Alex is better than chocolate.... oh oh.... :?

Hey my LL buddies! what's up today - skiing? fishing? cruisin' in the roadster? beach combing? surfin'? I dunno - what'd'ya guys think? ~ Mannie

When is shot time if they are bugging you at 3:30 AM? Geez.

I hope Mannie is planning on surfing in this range or lower. Silly boy...frosting!

oh how kitties can be drawn to frosting! Mocha can smell it from the other end of the house ...these are some nice blues for mannie, I hope he comes down to the green floor later on .. have a good day guys!

I had to laugh at the image of Mannie doing a face plant in frosting. :lol: I really didn't know that kitties liked sugar so much. And it doesn't seem that the frosting affected his bgs. Have a great day, Michelle!

Hi all! I too hope this is the start of a blue, or lower, surf. I'm no too crazy about all those pinks and yellows he's been through last week/weekend... paws crossed that today will be good.

:-D Sienne. Shot time is 4:30 AM. yeah - i know.... it's a hold over from when I used to have to be to work by 6:30. that time gave me a little morning time with him, and worked really well for the afternoon. I was home in time to have a full 6 hours to watch his cycle. i like the afternoon layout really well - so I've kept it. downside is the 4:30 AM, but being a morning person... i don't mind it. the 3:30 is a killer, and they all will get a talking to this evening, especially the kitty that sits there and meows, loudly, nonstop for an hour... ohmygod_smile

Frosting therapy, huh? Whatever works. I think it ws a delaying tactic to have this nice drop during the daytime for a change. Go Mannie!!!

yeah on the stupid frosting - go figure huh. It just didn't bump him up last night - thought maybe it would, but noooooooooooo :shock: and now Mannie thinks it's a great idea.

Sous Chef Tess - I KNOW! My stomach said FOOD, my beans' clock said noooooooooo. what is it with these beans - huh? My internal clock works just fine thank you very much. :cool: YAY! let's go cook! What a great day for Mannie...and he had a nice blue surf last night!! 3:30 AM??? Time to ignore some kitties :lol: :lol: :lol: And you don't work and you're up at 4:30??? You are amazing esp when Mannie gives you those late nights.

Mannie...I love to be Sous Chef agains wif Tess to make buffalo in MONTANA!! I nevers been to Montana...but it's gots to be better than here today..too noisy on the roof!! I wants to help for Trouble's party!!

Hi Ella - Mannie loves the Merrick line - Grammie's PP (yay - it set up the surf!)is going over well - he likes the surf and turf too. and yes - the cake is gone - i sent it home with my son - no point in having it around for Mannie to steal - he was so into it - scary...

YAY Ann - Mannie got kawabunga kitty! well the title will always be Tess's, but he still likes to think he can...

Hey Marjorie- and yes on the hours - been that way for many many years - my kids were all sports kids and well they were always at it at 5AM - and so goes the turf: where they went I went, even at 5AM...

have a good one guys! one more test for Mannie - to make sure he can stay in this range - then off for a walk through the trails here to the shore. Gotta go check on the salmon run - which started here a few days ago. really cool stuff.

Kitchen krew - Binks that means you too! can you herd buffalo? uhhhhhh - yeah, we gotta catch that first - but piece of cake!! We are so much smarter than them buffalo. no problem. uhhhh yeah - no problem. We can do it! Gracie: I see an addendum to the menu! part buffalo stew, and them buffalo steaks with spartagus - yes! that is primo grillin' stuff. i think I like this place called montana... lets go - buffalo to catch. good thing is they are soooooo big that we only need one.... uh yeah, only one. ~~ Chef Mannie

Nice string of numbers for Mannie...especially after doing the face plant in the cake. No more cake for you Mr. Mannie. Cake is not good for kitties.
