WOO HOO!!!! IT IS FRIDAY FURDAY! :-D :-D :-D I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Weather here was AWFUL, and given how tired I knew Nicholas would be from being here so late the night before, I elected to make in an indoor place today. Nicholas knew right off where he wanted to go. So... off to see the fishies at the aquarium! He is such fun to travel with. All the way to Seattle he was pointing things out, commenting on this and that. There is always fun coming from that back seat! What a great Seattle Tour Guide! Here is what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Ours has been GREAT! well the traffic was a major annoyance, always is when we have rain. it's like the skies open up and the idiots get behind the wheel. Other than that - we had fun Today was full of rains winds and lots of snow in the mountains here. This storm wasn't as nasty as the last one, but dang! rains have been non-stop, winds had a good punch, and it is just dark and gloomy out there. what a day.... It took us 1.5 hours to get to Seattle today, omg... NUTS!, as the drive i usually 30 minutes.  The aquarium won out today. Fine by me! I love that place. :-D Not so much the amount of time it took us to get there, but all inside was fun. Shesshhh Nicholas has such fun there, such excitement. William was awake the whole time, really focusing on what his big bro was talking about. He followed every move, smiled when Nicholas went to explain something to him. They are going to be quite the pair. The two octopus were the big hit today. They are fun to watch. One of the workers spent time with Nicholas teaching him things, he listened too, had alot to say to her as well. I lost count on the number of times I answered the question: "what's that?"   it was fun. Anemones were fun too. He was so insistent on poking them, he did well with that, gentle so not to damage or hurt them. Another one of those repeated observations: "Look grammie! He grabbed by finger!" yupp, that he did, those slimy things... :? . Anyways - a fun day, a long one too, but fun. Picassa link: Seattle Aquarium

Just a general observation for all of you that have become as taken with the boys as I am. William is growing so fast. Nicholas too. What is so cool with them both is the love they have for each other Nicholas adores his little bro. Yesterday when I was watching them interact I was taken back by William's responses when he sees Nicholas. His face breaks out into the biggest smile, literally . He so loves what he sees, watches everything that Nicholas does. The joy on his face when he sees him is just so cool! I hope they both never loose sight of it.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!   And little to write about. what s up with that? They really have been good kitties yesterday - even Lola. She ran alot, she always does, but nothing was Lola-ized. AWESOME! But a large part of me knows it is just the calm before the next storm.    With the nasty weather yesterday all kitties were in sleep mode. All of them snuggled up. I was soooooooooo jealous! ;-)  In writing about the cat wall yesterday - well it made me think alot about kitties, and especially Mannie. Nicholas seemed to sense that, as he talked alot about him too. He knows Mannie resides in Mannie's Garden. Yesterday was the first time he mentioned that he doesn't want Mannie there anymore, said with such sadness. He wants to see him, bring him his nanners like he used to do. It was so sweet, poignant, bittersweet. He asked me at the end of the conversation if Mannie liked his garden. I told him that he did, that he chose that spot so he could be close to him, and Nicholas could visit as much as he liked. He smiled at that, and said, "OK Grammie. That is good. Maybe I can bring him some more nanners there too". Yep, little man, that you can. YUPP, Normalcy in MusketeerVille.

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river, again, as Nicholas asked for one yesterday - he always does! LOVES the rivers! as yesterday, alot depends upon the weather. We are due for another nasty storm, so I hope it holds off til the evening. It may end up being a local river park today. We also plan on swimming in the evening, if Nicholas still wants to go. I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Oh, I love the ever-strong bond between Nicholas and Mannie ~ touches my heart (and tear ducts, too). (FYI: I recently found this book for my classroom, to help my littles with dealing with the loss of a loved animal. It's a good one ~ talk about how the kitty is now a part of everything.)

It sounds like you had a fun day yesterday. It's funny about the rainy-day traffic ~ you'd think that in Seattle, people would not forget how to drive when there's precipitation. It's like that here, too, but we get far less rain than WA.

I hope today is a great one for you, Michelle  TGIF!
Enjoy time with your growing DGSs!

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on Nicholas and Mannie, and the book reference. I will look for that, it could prove to be cupful. it's seems like the approach I try to take with Nicholas: that Mannie is now part of everything. LOL on yesterday and that traffic!! we do get rains, sometimes alot, and one would think people here would know how to handle that. it was just nuts yesterday: full of folks being just dumb. other than that the day was great! We all LOVE the aquarium here. YUPP: TGIF!!! :-D :-D :-D THX on today to, it will be good. Always is when I have the buys here. They keep it simple, yet fun.

Awww...very heartwarming condo today, between the bond with the boys, and Nicholas and Mannie. And yes, I'm sure Lola is just resting up for the weekend  !!! Have a great day, Michelle!!

I can see in the pictures you post how much Nicholas and William love each other. It is great that Nicholas still remembers Mannie, but sad that he wishes he were still here. They had a special bond.

I hope the bad weather holds off long enough for you to get out with the boys today. I'm sure Lola is just resting up for her next escapade.

Hoping for better weather today, so Nicholas can get to his river. You and your family have handled things so well w/ the new arrival, too often the older child is left to feel jealous. Kudos go to you DD and DSiL for the great way they are keeping the boys close. Sa well as to both of they for being such happy kids! :-D :-D

Yuck on the weather. I hope it clears up for you. That much rain would get a little depressing. Awesome on the aquarium. Nicholas does have a lot of fun there.

How sweet on the boys. I noticed on some of the pics that you can really see William focusing on things and always smiling at his big bro. Awwwww.

Wow on Lola. What is up with that? Rainy days are snuggle days here as well. I have a feeling she is just resting.

Have a great day Michelle!!

Awwwww, that Nicholas is one special cat boy. Bringing nanners to Mannie in his garden just did me in. I had just read about the crossing of Carl's beloved Bob so the tear ducts were already primed. I so enjoy reading your loose lip condos every day! :YMHUG:

Hi Michelle,
Nicholas is a very perceptive little boy and it is wonderful that his love for Mannie has remained so strong. And he is such a good big brother to William. I love looking at their pictures, too. William looks so happy when he is interacting with Nicholas.

I hope you were able to have a river adventure today.

Have a fine evening and weekend.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

p.s. I'm late today because of all the unexpected turns the day has taken. Off to the wedding tomorrow by myself and hoping that the driving won't be too bad (6 hour trip). Edward isn't feeling well and will stay home with Rusty.

Hi everyone. here it is 9PM, and I have just walked in the door. What a day! A crazy busy one, but ever so fun, Nicholas and I swam tonight, so that made for the long day, as I needed to take him home after swimming, which isn't exactly next door. ;-) THANKS everyone for visiting. I did read all the comments, and thank you guys, alot. I will try to respond tomorrow.

i'm off to bed... so so tired! I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) ;-)
