so funny how cats get their routines and their spots. i understand the hall post - sort of like having a security command center where you can see all around. make sure gizmo's not getting into anything!

I totally have a hall security cat here as well, so much so that i've had to move his bed right in the middle of the hall so he can snooze on the job if he wants.

I have unhappy kitties. They have seen the dreaded suitcase. I was taking some clothes out of the closet (to place in said suitcase) and Gabby followed me into the closet meowing the entire time. There's now a whack-a-thon occurring which I think is the result of displaced annoyance with me. I'm heading out for a conference tomorrow and will be back on Sunday.

Safe trip, Sienne. Gabby isn't happy, but she'll adjust (and she'll like the no-pokes).

Too bad you can't just waltz out the door without a suitcase!!
