It will be interesting to see what Essi does today with that pretty number....may be some greens coming your way!

Nice numbers for Essie! That's less than 10% difference, it could just be meter variance and the Lantus may not have kicked in yet. No worries yet.

Ann & Tess, Yah very nice numbers, oooooooodles better, I just wish now her hind legs wld get a little better, but I know it takes time :-D

Okay Im a dork, I just realized what the lil icon means Mr Green LOL. Okay now we need a Mr. Blue tooooooo?

I had read an earlier post about the lady(?) who was upset about something "mean wrote", was going to post, but wasnt sure what to say, because everything was pretty much already said from previous post(s). I was shocked to read her(?) complaints. I talk about you guys several times a day, on what great support/care/guidance you guys have given Esmeralda and I. There are just NO words to describe how touched we both are. I look forward to reading others numbers and sharing w/Essi when her fellow kitties have had good or bad days. And also look foward to posting her numbers, and sharing as well.

Essi and I are truelly blessed to have found "all of you" !!!!!

:lol: :lol: :lol: on mr green. i had been here 2 months before anne was kind enough to explain how to get the smilies from outside the box...into the box. i tried clicking and dragging them in...but they grabbed the borders and hung on kicking and screaming until i let em go!

i leave the ketone testing question for others more experienced than i...but nice numbers for you girl!

I have no experience with ketones, so hopefully someone with experience will chime in here. Once a week is what I see others suggest sometimes, but if the numbers are very high and/or an infection is present and/or your cat isn't eating well, the risk is higher and I would test more often. If your cat has a history of ketones, then I would test daily until your cat is regulated.
