Sorry for being so late, but it's just been one of those days!!

Went ahead and pulled the trigger and took China down again so we're trying for a new dose of .1......we'll just see how it goes (not looking great tonight, but it's early...and I have unrealistic expectations anyway...lol)

Finally got my new glasses ordered but now have to wait 2 weeks to get them. Due to the new earlier time to get dark, I haven't had to drive in the dark for quite some time, but had a late afternoon today. Scared me to death! The glare from the headlights on the other cars almost blocked out what little of the road I could see! The optician says that's the cataract, so the new glasses won't help, so I guess I won't be doing a lot of late afternoon/night driving!!

Makes it kind of hard to take DM to Branson this year since everything is at night (and there are lots of cars and lots of dark roads there) so I'm not sure I'd be comfortable trying it. It'll disappoint her if we don't go though :(

Oh well....we'll see how it goes!!

Hope all your kitties are feeling good and surfing safely tonight!! Glad to see the LagoonMeister heading back down!!

0.1!! That's Rusty's dose (more or less; we're at a fat 0.1 right now--I think!). How do you measure it?

Bummer on the cataract. I don't have cataracts, but I don't like the really bright headlights that so many of the cars have now. I have found that if I wear my baseball cap when driving at night (day, too) I can block out a lot of the glare. Try it! You can pull the bill of the cap down when you need to and still see. I know that your mom loves going to Branson and hope you'll be able to go this year.

Yo LagoonMeisterin China, congrats on the reducie. Let's celebrate!

How do you measure it?

I'm wearing really thick reading glasses and second guessing myself a lot.....but I know I'm not giving quite as much as I was, so for lack of a better way to keep track, I'm calling it .1 ;)

It's just barely over the zero line (when the zero line looks like it's in the right place anyway)

I'd love for her to go down to the 1 drop dose.....then I wouldn't have to look at the lines at all! Just push the plunger in hard, insert into the pen and let go!....but that's getting ahead of things ....I'm just hoping she can continue with her lagoon duties on this dose and doesn't start spending more time on the beach!

exciting on the dose...!

i'm night blind too. I didn't think about my cataracts contributing to it. I had to drive in the dark last night and it sure isn't fun.
I just keep my eyes on the yellow light on the right as much as possible, even if i have to ride on it a little, keeps my eyes pointed away from the oncoming lights.

Congrats on the reducie. China is looking good. :D:D:D

I hate driving at night too. The lights on new cars are too bright. I hope you can work out a way to take your mom to Branson.

Looking good Miss C!

I have trouble with headlights and not driving too and I am still a "youngin'". My eye doctors pretty much told me that I am too sensitive i got glasses with the lowest prescription (that I barely needed)... they make my 20/20 vision be 20/15. Then I paid out a bunch for the newest coating of light blocking/antiglare. I think they said it was more for blue light. The glasses help with the harshness of the headlights - dont have to squint real tight or close one eye - but the light *still* bothers me.

I never had the problem on my first car - it had a tinted windshield. I think that was a key for me LOL
