Hi Barb & Checkers,

I hope you were able to get the strips at Walmart and that your order will arrive today, too (that's usually what happens, isn't it?). We are having a cold, dreary day. I hope it improves soon. The canoe rack comes off on Sunday unless we can paddle that day.

I got to the only country/feed store, around here (25 miles), and bought lots of differents stuff.

He was searching the bags, when I got home.....I love that, so I gave him a teas of Grammy's Pot Pie, before looking at the label. OOPS......gravy. Then I remembered to test him....Oops again....303
He sure did love it tho.

I knew it was safe to go out, as he was rising all morning, but I didn't expect pink

Looking up all these new fuds will be fun. I suspect the civvies will get most of it.

At least Checkers enjoyed the pot pie. Of course they always love the HC fuds. I hope Checkers comes down for you soon once the pot pie clears his system.

Thanks Carla. I found it's only 8%......I expected it to be much higher, because of the sauce. He did rise tho. :roll:

Hi Barb, I was about to order strips from ADW and wonder about the length of time. Grammy's Pot Pie always gave Mags a spike, but she sure loved it! Ithink Checkers has company.

Wow, what a day. Is this a spike from food, or pain, or just being Checkers. :YMSIGH:

I think he over did the play again today, as well as yesterday. I was just telling Susan about how great he's been feeling, when I saw him trying to settle into a comfortable sitting position. He was having trouble. I gave bupe, but it was just before shot time, and he didn't want to eat.
I gave the Grammy's Pot Pie again. At that time I just needed food in him, 8% or not.
He's napping now.
Well, he had 2 days of good play. :-D
 
HI Barb - once again, sorry for the late visit. It seems to be the only time I have these days. It has been another whirlwind day with Nicholas. Such fun we had. And Mannie behaved while we were gone! YAY! I do hope your day has been a good one.

OWWWWWWWWWW on that pmps! well, he will come down. Sorry Checkers was hurting today, and I hope he feels better tomorrow. Nice though on the two good days. and YAY for Grammie's Pot Pie. Mannie Always liked that one too. Not too bad at 8%, alsmot an LC. I haven't fed it in a while, not too sure why not... I need to resurrect that one!
