164 pmps...new pen 1.25

Saw pink, yellow, blue yesterday. Think it may have been bad pen. Today will tell....maybe.

Checkers is unusually hungry this morning. He ate heartily at breffis and asked for more. Had his sink drink, and fountain drink.
Found big greyhairball, on couch this morning. Hmmm Himself sleeps on couch, and is grey.
Oh goody, I get to launder the slipcover now. :roll:
Need to make a run to WalMart for strips. I love green, but a nice mid blue number, would be nice, late morning.

those were some nice blue numbers yesterday checkers! I hope the new pen is that magical pen that brings out all of checkers greens, hey, we can hope right?? :mrgreen: Come on down now checkers, come to the lower levels you're close enough to get there today! Have a great day guys!

Sienne, I was just suspicious of the pen, because his numbers were strange for a couple of days, coinciding with restarting a pen that had been started a few weeks ago, and then stopped using.
It was just a theory. I posted a question about the pen last night, but didn't word it correctly.

Nice start to the day, I hope Checkers isn't reading your condo though....you know what happens when they know you have to go out! Be a good boy and surf blue this morning, ok? No diving allowed...

Ugh on the slipcover...they always know the worst place to deposit hairballs, don't they? :roll:

Funny thing...last week, someone mentioned her cat's ears get cold when number is low. I noticed that in Checks too. His ears were icy, just now, and I just knew it was too low!

39?? Holy Cow! Good catch, Barb. That Checkers sure likes to dive. Who gave him the scuba gear? :lol: I'm glad he's enjoying the gravy. Now you're going to have a busy day, but I hope its a good one.

Good catch and great job handling the low numbers. I guess Checkers was tired of this dose and you know you had toasty insulin.

You're right, Sienne, now I know for sure, the insulin was toast.
On the day I wanted to get out for more strips, he does this? Boy I sure would hate to HC him, just to go out.
Walmart is 30 miles, at 35 to 45 MPH. I need 2 hours to get back. Phooey, no Chinese Buffet today. :roll:

i, too have a cat with the built-in bg barometer pair of ears. there's only been twice that his ear temp didnt follow the binks norm...ice cold in the lows and unnaturally warm in the highs. too dang bad evolution hasn't yet presented us with the Accucheck cat ear temp BG meter..."standard feature on all models since 1989!" :lol:

I waited until +6/131, then got out for my strips. I'm prepared....bring on the greens, Checkers! :-D

Hahaha, not only do I have a supply of strips, but have a handful of movies from the library, in case I'm up all night. :-D
