Hello!!

Yesterday: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=128091

Billie is doing well today! I am hoping for some better numbers as she gets back on track from her late shot last night, but at least she got into blue last night and today.

This is a picture of the cats after they unwrapped one of the presents my mom sent them in the mail. Of course, they are far more interested in the tissue paper than the toys  Billie is currently sitting on top of the tissue paper grooming.

I hope everyone had a nice day! Sending vines to all the cats and beans needing vines.

Re: 11/8 Billie AMPS 306 +4 185 pic!

Oh boy, new 'nanners! They'll love those. How great of your mom to send them such neat presents (and box and tissue paper, too--a bonanza).

Have a great weekend, Deanna,

Cute, cute, cute!!! Ya gotta love how the kitties appreciate every part of a present...the box, the tissue paper, the present itself! Wonderful Billie report to boot. Have a great evening, Deanna!

Re: 11/8 Billie PMPS 238 pic!

Thanks for the visits Ella, Amy, Anne and Liz! Yes, my mom is very sweet and always thinks of the kitties!

Hooray for a yellow PMPS! Much nicer than pink. We are currently on a noon/midnight shot schedule because of last night's late shot, so I am keeping some very weird hours. Oh well!

I am about to go on the warpath - I live in a non-smoking building, but one of my upstairs neighbors is definitely smoking cigarettes inside. I can smell it through the whole building. I'm nervous because of Billie's coughing/allergic asthma. I'm debating whether I should leave a polite note in the lobby, wait till Monday and ask the landlord to do something about it, or start knocking on doors at midnight...definitely leaning toward option 1 or 2!

I hope everyone is having a good night!

Re: 11/8 Billie PMPS 238 pic!

Well, you could call the fire department, smelling smoke...worried about a fire, resident in the apartment is probably asleep. Just being a good neighbor. ;-)

Well, crap. Billie had a coughing fit after about 3 weeks quiet on the coughing front. Probably not a coincidence with the cigarette smoke. I left a note in the lobby where everyone will see it. I really hope the coughing was a one time thing, but I kind of doubt it and am prepared if it's not.

I think the next thing I'll do is try a steroid inhaler. Supposedly, it won't effect BGs as much as oral meds. I hope that's true.

:YMSIGH:

How nice to live in a building that can ban smoking! I live in a condo and the lady above me used to have cigarettes burning 24/7. I could smell the smoke in my place. Thankfully after a few surgeries not related to her smoking she has stopped. I had no way to stop her. I've never smoked and was breathing the stuff. I always wondered if it caused my other cat's cancer. I would definitely speak to the manager. I hope Billie doesn't cough any more.

Deanna, I couldn't find a condo for Billie today so I'm going to post here. That is so cute your mom sends Billie and Brooklyn presents! :-D And isn't that just like a cat to like the box and wrapping paper better than the actual gift  RE:your inconsiderate neighbor?? Really?? I would immediately ask her what exactly she doesn't understand about the posted No Smoking!!! cat(2)_steam Definitely talk to the manager though- some people! Hope Billie is feeling better? :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

I agree: talk to the manager. Rules are rules, and health rules are very important.

I hope Billie's coughing will be better tomorrow and that you will have a good night.
