Looking better there big guy but you still aren't quite there yet. So be good for mom tomorrow so she can get lots of good data and we can figure out where you hid your swim trunks and golf clubs. Autumn and Lucian miss you playing with them.

..and it just takes the threat of a large snow storm next week for me to wearily offer a room in my home temporarily to a mom and three kittens living outside. Now that I know about them, I won't get any sleep.
I am a crazy cat lady and I don't dare tell my boyfriend. These babies are not going to be raised on dry food that's for sure. If doing this makes me a crazy cat lady then I know that I am in good company!
Meanwhile - Alska's got a three-day weekend of poking ahead of him :razz:

Lol how do you think I ended up with 14? There are only 3 here that I planned on and actively sought out. Maxwell, Autumn and Bert. Everyone one else were suppose to be temporary. I swear there is a big neon flashing sign that only cats can see that points to my front door reading "crazy cat folks live here. Just meow and look pathetic to gain entrance then suck up to the daddy man" lol
I never failed as a foster until I married DH. lol And he WAS a confirmed DOG GUY when I moved in with Muse and Onyx. hehehe

Mel you tickle me! As it so happened, I split up with a bf because of my cats. :lol: Told him, I'd had them much longer and since he seemed to want to make me make a choice, I chose my cats! That was 30 yrs ago. :lol: First guy I dated after my divorce, so I was still a little raw anyway.
He made the mistake of 'pushing' one of my cats off the bed. 1.) you don't push a cat, 2.) especially on a waterbed! Had to patch my bed. Yup, that was the end of our, short term, relationship. He had this crazy notion that animals don't belong in the house. WHAT???!!!

Bless you guys that can take in fosters, I know I can't, I have to give them furever homes. Once I take you in, you're home, there is no way I can give them back. I so hope I can buy a small piece of land and adopt all the unwanted babies.
I'll be like my late aunt, eating beans and cornbread so the babies can eat. :lol: Just another CCL! :lol:

I am not good at this foster stuff either. I cried and cried for days after Nuzzles went to her new home. I will do the same as each of these leave. I get attached - but what could I do? They are living outside and the temps are dropping. Last year I found a bunch of feral cats outside an antique store before Christmas. Some of them were babies. My first day of vacation I bolted out there to investigate. I had people lined up in case I needed to bring back the little ones. I found out that a woman living in a house that backs up to the store has a large cage on her porch with blankets in and around it. There were 12 cats stuffed in there just as warm as could be. She was feeding them and her coworkers all took the females and spaid them and then returned them to her porch so the baby making could cease. I thought about them every night all winter long and they had care.
I will not sleep knowing that these babies are outdoors in this cold weather. As of this morning - no one has offered to take them so I am waiting to see where I have to go to get them and then going to fast track their marketing effort. Luckily they are very pretty kittens. Momma may be a little harder to home but kittens will go fast.

Aw... these are mostly white with orange markings or gray markings. Very pretty. Mom looks like a cat that would be named Patches. I am told that I will have to socialize one of them - I guess that means that it is scared. May ask for help with that if I get them.
