Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) Oh how I need an Elsa visit today! DH took one of the strays to town for a neuter yesterday. We pick him up on Friday and hopefully can get Civie Rockford into an appt to get bw. He is eating and drinking a lot lately. BG is normal. He is otherwise in beautiful condition and great spirits, but should get some bw anyways. He is the pee-er so urinalysis also needed.

So nice to come home last night to beautiful blue numbers. We ended up surfing that for a while then in yellow, then pink by the end of the cycle. Bouncing off blue? Well he is lovey and squawky and hungry. Still sneaks that pee in when I'm not looking (even when I am standing right there), but maybe today is the lucky pee test day???

I hope Twice slides down today and you come home to some blue. I hope you can get Rockford's b/w scheduled and everything is okay.

Hi Kim,

Feel like I should stop and play the lottery in honor of the Lucky Pee Test Day! Glad that Twice gave you some nice healing numbers yesterday :-D

Sounds like you and DH are busy with kitties. Hoping Rockford gets his BW done. And that vet keeps kitties two nights for a neuter? I feel like the vets in my area want to send them home as soon as their eyes open!

Hi Kim...hopefully today is going to be that Lucky Pee test Day! What we don't t put up with from our furry babies :lol: Hope your Thursday is fabulous and Twice gives you good numbers !

I have discovered that I do NOT come from a long line of secret ninjas. Sigh. Twice was his usual starving self when I got home, so after his test I fed him his dinny and carefully positioned myself to make it look like I was on the computer, but secretly I was watching him. He did his famous new trick of taking a big bite of food then hopping into the lb to have his pee. Well this time I was prepared! I quietly got up off the bed, reached over ever so gently to grab the test stick, and then very carefully....No wait!...that's what I planned, but what I did was: DOVE at the poor cat like a rabid squirrel, basically throwing myself in the lb with him. So of course, he decided to not use the facilities, shot me a very 'dilated eyed' look of shock and jumped back up on the bed. All the while keeping me in his sights because clearly I have lost my mind. I decided to try leaving the room, but he was not to be fooled. Every time I peeked into the room (about every 47 seconds) he was still staring at the door with that look on his face. :lol: Honestly, I am so lucky this cat loves me as much as he does :lol:
So in the end, I used the gravel and got my sample the easy way. It was negative :-D
 
LOL....I thought I've been so stealthy, too, trying to catch Noah in the act to see what he's been up to. He's not impressed with my abilities to spy, and, like Twice, walks away in total disgust without giving me any satisfaction. Yes, they must think we beans are insane.

Oh my, I'm chuckling at the pee capture event. It's amazing how sneaky they can be. Yeah for negative ketones. I swear Neko takes about 4 seconds to hop in, pee and hop out. About the length of time it takes me to unscrew the cap on the ketostix. :roll:

Hey Twice - how about coming down from that bounce now please?
 
Funny how things go so smoothly in our mind, and so poorly in real life!! Glad you were able to get a test, even if it was just from the gravel! These kitties are awfully smart - no fooling them!

I remember when I was trying to get Hoots 1st test, I carried the LB all around the house with me :roll: :lol:
WTH is she doing was the look I got from Hoot :lol: And he wouldn't pee at all :roll:
I finally put the LB back and took the top off and eventually got it :roll:
And luckily Hoot is so forgiving cat_pet_icon Silly Beans :roll:

Yes...congrats on the test!!!!

I just make little trays out of aluminum foil. As Gracie squats, I slip the tray under her soft little bottom and...voila! Easy peasy!

More blue please, Twice,
