That little 1/4 tsp. of 10% put the brakes on for 12 hours and then right back to business! It might have been a tactical mistake considering she then resumed right at bedtime! :roll: :lol: We also are trying the NV raw venison, and so far no barfing like the beef. :-D :-D :-D The bowl was absolutely polished this morning!

WCR just 4 Ps so far, Clean Plate Club and a cuddly kitter as the weather is cooling off again. yesterday Tess rediscovered her crinkle tunnel and a stash of nanners inside! happy kitty!

Well, the little speed demon actually missed the pink AND the blue floors! I don't think she earned a rainbow w/ those gaps! :roll:

Wow what a day for Tess yesterday. And now the opposite way. Silly girl. i'm glad she is tolerating the raw venison better than the beef. Have a great day Ann!

Ann, I was interested in what you said to Pip about Tess's bouncing on food too low in carbs. That never crossed my mind.
I've always thought, the lower, the better.....except of course, if they are green.
I don't have the choices you do with Tess. She's a good eater, isn't she? Mine isn't, so I'm limited, but I'm going to look at the new chart and find a FF a bit higher.....I hope. I suppose I could also add a drop of gravy to the lower one.
Just to see if it helps with the bouncing.

We may be in for another busy night! :roll: This is pretty much what she did yesterday.

Barb i think it is more that they can drop rapidly on too low a carb food and dropping fast and low can cause bouncing. Let's just say it was rather forcefully brought to my attention in our first year here when I was thinking along the lines of the lowest possible % carbs is the best.

Tess can be a picky eater too, it took me over a year to get her to eat Wellness and she still doesn't most of the foods that would be best for her. The exception is NV raw. I haven't found one she doesn't like and they are all very LC and low phosphorus. With older cats we should all start thinking about that. Unfortunately, FF tends to be really high in phosphorus.

Hi Ann - so sorry for the late post... another DGS day where it is beyond late by the time have a free moment. I hope your day has been a good one.

Interesting cycle today for Tess - looks like a page out of Mannie's playbook. :shock: Come on down Tess - the other floors await you...
