Ozzie update. I just talked with Lauren and here is the latest. She talked with the vet last night and it was decided to give Ozzie 0.5u lantus. Lauren tested thoughout the night but Ozzie rose to and surfed in the 400’s. Vet had said that if Lauren did not hear from him in the AM, to give 2.5u.
Lauren tested at 6:60 am/448. She shot 2.5u and +3/380. She does have a call into the vet to see what happens next.
She is feeding only low carb FF and testing often. She does test Ozzie’s paws and would like to be trained in how to test his ears. I will be puting out a post to see who is in the Brooklyn area that might be able to help her.
Assistance may also be needed to get her ss up and running (need to confess that I had to have someone do mine)
