The pre breffs yelling and whacking started about 10 minutes before the alarm - kitty tummies are slowly moving over to standard time. After Otto went off at +1, Neko started yelling for more food (she had just eaten). I picked her up and put her on the bed where she started purring. She doesn't get up on the bed much because it's too high a jump for her now and she doesn't like sharing with the civie. Sure enough, 5 minutes later Theo showed up and ruined the purr party. :evil:

It's a cloudy day with some blue patches. Neko is recovering from last night's full moon party by snoozing in the solarium. Lots of biscuits were made on the fleece in her basket. I love the look of concentration they get when kneading away.

I'm always amazed now accurate kitties internal clocks are :lol: i just wish they could understand the concept of weekends

Neko numbers are looking pretty steady

Looking good.

Do you find the early morning wake up calls get more or less frequent as the BG goes down? I know hat it is due to th etime change but I mean in general. I think I've read appetite is supposed to increase when too low but decrease when controlled. In my case the early food demands that used to last for an hour are just a feeble attempt and I wonder if this is odd. Then again I am feeding fairly late into the cycle so perhaps that is the reason?

My crystal ball sees a visit from you know who today or tonight at the latest.

Nice start for Neko today. I'm glad you got some purring time before Theo ruined everything.

Cute about the kneading. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen Buster do that. I'm pretty sure he thinks he's a dog :lol: Hope you guys have a warm, snuggly night!

I like the way they stare into the beyond while kneading: they go into their "kitty world". Rusty ends his kneading sessions with a loud howl-like meow.

Nice start to Neko's day. I hope she had a good cycle and that you were able to get outdoors to do some rowing or hiking.

Enjoy the weekend. Rusty said that Neko was wielding a mighty sushi knife last night and that the large rodents were impressed.

From today's numbers, I suspect a certain Mr. G might have visited in the wee hours. Don't bother looking at the SS, Google Docs seems to be crawling right now. :roll:

@Sarah, Elise, Carla, ((Anne)), Tara, Ella - I replaced the fleece on Neko's basket with a clean one this afternoon, and she promptly hopped on, started making biscuits, purring and visited that far away kitty world again. :-D Ella - rowing is ended for the season. :sad: We were down at the boathouse looking at the busted boat engine carrier. We'll have to replace or fix that shortly as the coach boat motors need to come off the water for servicing and winter storage. And they are a bear to lug. Elise - Neko is normally a little more vocal if she does a green start, but not always - wouldn't want to be predictable! :lol: Neko's appy is no where as crazy as it was back in the beginning of FD, not sure if that's because she's in better numbers, the radiation therapy calmed down the acro tumour, or both.
