11/7 Max AMPS 458

Thank you Christie. He went up instead of down but he does that sometimes. Hopefully it will come on down. Thanks I’m a little better, just a sinus infection I think… but it’s miserable ugh.
 
I’m not sure if Max got his full 8.5 units tonight. Had no issues giving the injection but saw two drops of insulin on his fur. :banghead:
 
Sometimes there is a drop or two of insulin the outside of the syringe, left over from when you are removing bubbles or squeezing out drops to get down the right dose. Keeping our fingers and paws crossed here for a downward trend.

Maybe that’s what happened. I did have to try and get a bubble out. I hope he did get it all.
 
I’m dismayed… looking at Max’s spreadsheet this morning. But I am also optimistic about him coming down with the increase. I hope you will recover quickly from your sinus infection, Lori! Are you on antibiotics?

I know. I’m not sure what’s going on either. I wish it would go on and come down. I am taking antibiotics.
 
I’m surprised Wendy didn’t say to go ahead and take him back up to his former Lantus dose since things are still so high.
Anyway, I used to see a lot of new dose wonkiness on the second day after an increase with my boy Darcy.

Wendy did give me the option of a larger increase but I was so sick I didn’t think I could monitor him. I will go up tomorrow night I guess. I need to ask Wendy what she thinks.
