Hello All,

Good news I noticed today that Marvin is not walking on his hocks this evening. I am so happy, looks like his hind legs neuropathy is getting better. His front paws are back to normal, so just taking more time with the back legs.

I am so happy for my fur baby, he is doing really well. Being regulated has made the difference for him. I was going to test him tonight but, little bugger has been getting into the dog food the last two days. I am going to have to move the bowl upstairs or only leave food out when I am actively around to monitor.

It is such a relief to see him being more and more himself, and seeing how much difference all the hard work and trail drug has done. His coat is the best looking it has been in years, I think that is due to Wendy suggesting fish oil for inflammation, nice side affect ;) I think he even likes getting his meds in the morning now, he almost just lets me squirt it in his mouth.

I am so glad that I found this place and all of you for support and encouragement. I am sure Marvin appreciates it too, may not realize what happened this year, but I hope he noticed that he is doing better and mommy had something to do with it. Some times when I give him his meds I think he knows..... I wonder :)

So happy for you and Marvin. Such a wonderful update. I truely believe that Marvin knows that you and the meds are helping him feel better. I've said the same thing about Gizmo before. I think he knows the insulin shots help him because he has always been so understanding and willing to get his shots.

Awesome update! So glad to hear Marvin is back on his feet. :joyful:

I think they know about the meds too. Once I switched to Lev, Neko purred through her shot.

Fantastic news!! The few vets I saw recently just don't believe an acro cat can go into remission. Marvin is truly an inspiration. Glad to hear his neuropathy is improving. I'm told it takes the longest to get better. Have you considered getting the IGF-1 test again just to see what Marvin's levels are? I would assume in the normal range but it would be interesting to compare it from the first test.:bookworm:
Scritches to Marvin:cat:
