I am glad yesterday is over. :lol: It was not a particularly good day for Mannie - too many pinks, not enough blues, and the greens were elusive. I had hoped by mid-morning cycle he was headed down, but alas -- back up he went. We have a pink start this AM, but it is a low one. maybe today he can bring everything back down. Sounds good to me Mannie. How about you?

Well now.... It started at 3AM: all three cats: on my back, my side, my face. :lol: Hollering at an unheard of decibel - and the paws in the face. :shock: and the claws. Surely I had forgotten them! surely!! :o This went on til 4:15 when I gave up, got up, headed to the center of their universe this morning: food bowls! How to stall I thought - we are still too early for Mannie. oh sure - then came the whaps on the legs, and the head butts: what's the hold up was written all over their faces. Mannie was all over the civvies - putting them in their place. Me first came the hollers. aiyee!! It's hard to stall 15 minutes when you have a mini war in progress. :lol: :lol: :lol: well they are now fed, and content for the moment. Mannie is happy: his tummy is full, and he won the food battle. :cool: He has collected all his nanners, piled them up, chewed them, slobbered on them, rubbed them, and is now napping on them. Good job big fella! See you in a few for breffis #2 - well the auto feeder will. Let's hope all the fuss over feeding hasn't warped his memory of what to do when it "calls his name". what a morning... I really dislike time changes...

Michelle....ya just gotta write a book about Mannie and your civvies. You've definitely got special talent my dear. I really enjoy reading your posts.

Hope Mannie steps down the ladder to some yellows, blues and mabye a safe green. You've got your hands full the shower today too. Have fun.

Morning Tena! and thanks... blues today would be so nice... I was getting used to them. :lol: The shower for my daughter should be fun - looking forward to it: fun, FOOD, good times. for now - I need some better coffee than my pot produces - off to the local coffee shop for "the good stuff". ~O) ~O) ~O)

Hope Mannie comes down for you today. But like you said at least it's a low pink.

I can relate totally of the war going on for the food. When they get going they are persistant aren't they. My father watched my pets while I was away once. He went to open a can of tuna for his lunch and they went crazy. I forgot to mention that there is such a thing in my house called tuna tuesday. :mrgreen:

Hi Jan - fun photo!: Thanks! I so love the tuna story. It is even better in that I have a Tuna Monday... they all love it. The meows don't stop until they all get some.

Michelle, your condo is always a hoot :lol: I love your attitude, even facing the icky pink! Checks was keeping Mannie company up there this morning, but alas, Mannie left Checks up there, with the dust bunnies. Good for Mannie; yellow is so much nicer. :smile:
I'm sure the shower will go beautifully, and everyone will have a wonderful time. FOOD!! :-D

Funny morning condo here! Love that Mannie tried to control the thundering herd of hungry civvies for you. I still have a visual image in my head of Mannie slobbering on his 'nanners.... not sure that is a particularly pretty image, but....

I'm sending blue/green vines to your house.

Oh Michelle, so funny about the mini war! They are such creatures of habit, it's so hard for them to adjust to change! :lol:

I hope Mannie gives you some blues today, maybe even some greens...but please no diving, Mannie!! Your bean has important stuff going on, you'll need to share the stage today, ok? So exciting that your DD is expecting, I hope the shower goes perfectly! Have a great day!

Very nice drop this morning for Mannie. I hear you on the time change, Michelle. I'm glad we can get back to a regular schedule. I think if I'd waited a few minutes more to feed, I would have been breffis. :lol:

Good morning everyone -- and thanks for visiting Mannie's condo today. we seem to have survived the morning's mini war. I am with Ele- if I had waited any longer I would have been breffis. I fudged about 10 minutes in their favor - figure I can make that up tonight....

And thanks for the shower wishes - it should be fun. My DD is very excited. She's not due til 1/1, but with the holidays coming we all figured it was best to do this now, and not try to get all together during such a busy time. besides - it she's anything like her mom, there is a strong chance this baby will come early.... omg, and another whole OT story...

CD - you should see those nanners. they used to be yellow - not any more. eeuuwww - cats can be a little gross....

ok now - Mannie - THINK BLUE, THINK GREEN. please.

Very nice Mannie, you're doing a good job this morning! I was lucky this morning, no one woke me up for breffis. I slept in an extra hour, on top of the time change, so breffis was 2 hrs late, and NO ONE complained! :o They are, however, upset that it's raining and they cannot go outside. They sit at the door, I open it, they look out and run the other way. Then come ask to be let out again...Kibby is looking out the window and then at me, like, "Make it stop, mom! How DARE you make it rain when you KNOW we wanna go out!" :lol:

Enjoy the shower today Michelle, I don't know HOW you didn't go btb after your early wake up and crazy morning.

HI Anne! lucky you! I should have gone btb - not too sure why I didn't... That is so funny with your troops and the rain. Mannie will do that too - he goes about a foot out the door, lets out this rather visible sigh and turns around and comes back in. One of the civvies doesn't care - she goes anyways. :lol: and thanks - the shower should be fun! :-D

Have fun at the Shower, good idea to have it early. The holidays are such a rush, it would just feel squeezed in not special.

Tess needs to take some lessons from Mannie on getting the bean up, I knew when she finally woke me it was way to light out to be the right time.

let's see -- 173 @ pmps, 179 @ +2.... not too bad considering in between those two nice blue numbers Mannie decided he needed cake, butter-cream sugary sweet frosting to be exact. I'd had some left-over from the shower, set some aside to save for my boys, turned to talk to my daughter for 1 minute - one minute! that sneaky little devil had flown up on the table, was within seconds licking frosting off the cake. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile never turn your back on a kitty with a mission. never. one minute is all it takes. so ---- not too bad with the 179, considering it is butter, sugar, and cream influenced. :shock:

hi Ann, Hi Barb - we had a good time - shower went well, all seemed to have fun. She received alot of nice gifts. Food turned out well, cake was yum! just ask Mannie on that one. :lol: :lol:

I am sorry I have been MIA, and probably missed alot today. I hope all out kitties had a great day, all are well.

Thanks kitchen krew! we did good - Scrabble held a really nice party. He really likes life at the falls - i hope all our friends here in LL get to find out for themselves soon. Good job today guys. Michelle...great condo today...sorry I missed it!!! How was the shower? The cake sounds WONDERFUL!!! I know DD probably had a great time and got all kinds of cute baby things :lol: Hilarious story about the cake and Mannie!!! What these sugarbabies won't do for contraband.

Mannie....did you gets CAKE??? Lucky you!! I had funs at the annifursary party today...that was kewl!! It was so great to see Muffin!!! I missed her the last few days!!

Hi guys! The shower was fun - good times! and so many cute things for babies now - so different from when I had mine.

Hey Sienne - Just frosting I think -- not too sure. Hard to tell when it is a face plant. :lol: :lol: that little tongue was working so fast, that part was funny.

funny photo Marjorie - that was pretty close to the look on his face when I grab him off the table. That cake sooooooooooooooooooo good. It was a dark chocolate sheet cake with custard filing, topped with a vanilla butter cream frosting. quite good - just ask Mannie... :roll:

Hey Muffin - Hi Gracie ! YES!!!!! I stole some cake. :twisted: My bean was so upset.... i was so fast. table jumping, face planting, frosting consumption within seconds. hate to be a downer here...but if i recall correctly...the "let them eat cake" scenario didn't go so well for poor ol' Marie, did it ?? :cry:

on the other hand...muffin did it, and look where she wound up!! :-D

missed most of the day today on LL...but go mannie!

Sheesh, what else will happen today. Not bad numbers at all for a contraband attack. I think Mannie was picking up a few pointers on cake ambushing from Gracie. Glad you had a nice time at the shower.
