LL beans! It is I!, Mannie, kitteh barista! For today I proudly offer triple shot Cappuccinos with extra foam, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: a Venti quad Irish cream infused white mocha, with hazelnut whip, garnished with caramelized nut clusters and white chocolate shavings. Yesterday was.... YELLOW day in MannieLand. A resting day.... OK so will let him have this day off. But tomorrow back to business! OK Mannie? Blues again tomorrow? Maybe even a dip into the green lagoon. I finally made Mannie's appt with a cardiologist... so on Monday he will do into the specialty center here for a full cardio workup, echo, all the fun stuff. When we were dealing with his UTI and dental and no appy and giardia and U/S back in july/august, the vet felt that his heart rate was little fast, that he could well have an Arrhythmia. We never scheduled it, the cardio workup, then as we all felt we needed to get him through all the other stuff, then the heart issue, if there even is one. I've been semi-bad and have not scheduled it. so.... we will get this taken care of on Monday. Lucky Mannie!! A vetty trip! Sorry big guy, and I do lubs ya! cat_pet_icon

all is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It was vacuum day in MannieLand. :shock: :shock: :shock: He is so funny. I can vacuum right up to him and he does not move. I can vacuum circles around him, But come one step near his nanners and he is man of action - and up went the "do not disturb the nanners" sign. :lol: :lol: He was on such high alert... very akin to the "Elsa is messing with my nanners" high alert. Silly cat went and sat on them. Guess I will have to wait til next vacuum day to do that carpet spot :lol: :lol: Nanners: 9, Mannie: 7, Bean: 0 A cold front is moving into our area today. It is getting chilly out there. Winds were up a bit too. I asked Mannie if he wanted to go out. WOW: that perked up the ears. :lol: :lol: He did venture out, but not past the deck. Too cold Mannie? He got his sniffs, then ca back in to the nanner pile.Guess he wanted to make sure that the evil vacuum monster had not returned... :lol: :lol: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a lots of cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty today through Friday. It will be a swim day for Nicholas, and then hopefully we can find a nice outdoor spot. He still loves the rivers, so I hope to be able to get to one. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

Hey everybody!!! What's up? My bean as doing a happy dance this morning. She is so weird... something about no more election ads and phone calls.... whatever that means. i dunno.... Hey - I saw this really cool thing on the TV last night. it was like a house in the trees: a tree house I think. I think we need one of those. Complete with sauna and hot tub and a stove for cookie making and a little garden for the 'nip growing... hmmmm.... we could do that. Now all we need is a really cool tree. What'd'ya think? wanna get together ad plan? There is this really awesome maple tree in my neighbors yard, no way would he notice kitty house way up there... See you guys, 'K? ~~ Mannie

LOL on the vacuuming....my Ralphie is the same way...except he doesn't have nanners to protect...but he will not move for anything, lol! The others run as soon as the vacuum is turned on.

Mannie is making sure that you do not have to worry at all about him while you are out, isn't he a good boy! He knows how much you enjoy taking Nicholas out so he is making sure that happens. I hope you guys have a good day! It's cold here...very cold....but no wind, so we are good.

After being up late last night, I will require that capuccino (extra strong, please, Mannie barista)! Michelle, it's good that you scheduled Mannie for the cardiac work-up. As they say, knowledge is power. I'm glad you got your vacuuming done (except for that one little spot where the nanners are). Gotta respect those spaces.
Do you have room in your garden to grow some weed?? :lol:

Have a great day with Nicholas. Swimming, of course, and hopefully a river to explore.

That is Elsa: runs the minute take it out of the closet. :lol: :lol: :lol: Mannie however: defender of the nanners til the bitter end, GO MANNIE! and that he is: such a good boy - always makes sure that Nicholas and I can play. :-D :-D I should get him a new nanner for that. ;-) wow on your BRRRRRR. I too don't mind the cold, as long as it isn't windy. god to go her too. YAY!

Thanks on the cardio stuff - it is how I feel too, as he really is a-symptomatic, short of a fast heart rate. knowledge is a good thing. and a big :lol: :lol: on respecting those spaces... no vacuuming there. ever. :lol: :shock: :cool: :cool: OH HAHAHAHAHAHA on the weed growing - isn't THAT a hoot! we are now LEGAL! :cool: :lol: :lol: THx on DGS. weather seems like ti will be good, so I hope for a river. at least water of some sort... :cool:

Morning Michelle and very nice blue AMPS for Mannie and I see some green today, too, right Mannie! Then up just enough for the Bean and little DGS to have a fun day. Mannie, I love Cappucinos with extra foam, my favorite coffee drink next to Espresso. ~O) ~O) TY so much for my delivery. It is great! Good luck and many good vines for Monday's cardiac work-up. I think it's great to get it done just to relieve your mind and pray for a good result. That's why I did it with the U/S on Maggie's kidneys not too long ago! So funny with the nanners and vacuum. Have a great day and fun with Nicholas. It has cooled down here, too, finally!

Mannie, yeah, building a treehouse sounds fun. Your neighbors won't notice as we'll be so quiet. Hey, my Bean is so happy, too, that the elections are all over. She had so many people knocking on her door wanting her to vote for so and so on, and the ads, whew! See ya soon at the curb, Mags

Hooray on the end of the politcal ads! I too gave up when most of the races were called last night. The analysts were so desperate to come up w/ a new angle I called it a night when they got down to "% of white, Catholic voters, who actually attend services ……….." :roll: enough all ready! For me the worst was figuring out all our initiatives, generally if they sound like they mean one thin they actually will accomplish the opposite! ohmygod_smile :thumbup on the Weed in WA!

Nice blues today Mannie! Way to go big guy. Glad you got his heart stuff set up. The echo is a breeze. Mannie will do awesome with it and hopefully they let you go in and be with him if you want to. It was very interesting. No nanner vacumming this week huh? Oh mannie. You know you got to have it vacuumed. Poor guy. Have a great great day today Michelle and YAY on no more political ads!!

Hi Michelle, Nice Blues Mannie! :mrgreen: Always glad all is well and we have normalcy in Mannieland, :-D Nanner update: I took a nanner with me as a distraction for our kittens trip at the vet Monday. It was great help getting poor Pepper to calm down, I rubbed it all over her head and she stopped crying her little heart out cat_pet_icon , Even Pearl is starting to get into the nanners, though she thinks the label is the best part. Yay for nanners! And yay for no more political camp-pain ads, hope we move out of ground zero state before the next election. :-D

WOOT!!! We are still blue. How totally cool is that?

DGS and I had another great day today. Swimming was so fun: lots of play time on the water slide, and some of his version of swimming. We even spent some time in the big pool today. Fun stuff! We did get a little lucky with the weather - some sun in the afternoon.We went to the local beach here, as it has been a while since we went. There is a nice creek that feeds into the beach area. It is totally accessible, and gave him a chance to pretend he was out in the wilderness, throw rocks, make splashes, all the stuff little boys like to do. It was a great ttime. Beach area was great too - more rock throwing! I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Ann and Maggie - Mannie had a great day - mostly blue. A nice steady even blue surf. YAY! Good enough for DGS and I to be able to go out on an adventure. :-D THX on the cardio stuff! much appreciated. :-D THX on DGS - great day - we did have alot of fun! A very nice day. Mannie was just thrilled that I left his nanners alone, no vacuum monster today. :lol: :lol: I'm just thrilled that the election is OVER!

Hi Devon - THX - it has been a good one today. I like this cycle, if just for all it's steady evenness. WOO HOO! Mannie was too on the getting the fresh air. He really does like the outdoors. It makes it nice for him when the weather lets him. YAY! DGS an I did great - we settled on a creek and a beach. River tomorrow! (I hope)

Very lovely blues Mr. Mannie. Do you think you could show Neko it's OK to hang around the blues for a while without freaking the liver? And good luck with the cardio workup. It's good to get it done instead of just wondering how things are.

We had some nice sunshine today here too. The promised rains seems to have held off, although it is getting cooler outside. Funny on the weed in WA. The election may be over for you, but the dreaded ANALYSTS are having a field day with that here.
