LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!WACKY WEDNESDAY is over!!! What a relief. They have decided that today is TURN-AROUND TRIPLE THURSDAY! They are doing triples on everything! :shock: Kinda cool huh!They say that since Wacky Wednesday was so wacky that they wants to give all kitties some fun times today, triple funs! I so hope you guys like triple everything.... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are complimentary!

Woo HOO! it is Thursday. I hope everyone had a good one yesterday. Ours was alot of fun! it was a pool day for Nicholas. The other grandparents watched William while Nicholas and I swam.Thank you Pat! I love our mornings here. The boys play when they first get here. Breffis is a must, and Nicholas has one of the best ones ever. He is still into is berries, with waffles and bacon. Major yum. :cool: :cool: :cool: I will tease him and tell him that William so wants a bite. Nicholas's eyes get real big and he says with such assured-ness: " NOPE! None for William. These are my waffles and berries and bacon. William gets MILK, Grammie, NOT this! " You gotta love Mornings with Nicholas and William. This is what I wrote last night about our day yesterday: " Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. it was a swim day for us, what fun we had! Nicholas and I went to the pool, William went to spend the morning with his other grandparents. It was a great day at the pool. Heck, they are all great. It was close to two hours today, and dang - energizer FISH didn't want to go home. We closed out the morning session once again. :lol: :lol: :cool: Funny: tonight while we are getting set to go meet his dad he says he doesn't want to do that, and then says "can I go swim again, please?" you gotta love that. We did just about all there was to do today. A few months ago he wouldn't stand near those buckets that dump water, now he has to stand under them repeatedly and get nailed. Way too funny. Big pool was good too. After one of his jump ins he pops up all excited and says he touched the bottom. So of course we had to do that several more times. He made about 60% of them. It was just way too fun. so went the day in the pool. He told me again that he wants William with him too. It ought to be incredible when William is mobile, and can jump in with him. i can so see that scene. :lol: :lol: :lol: " Nicholas was very tired after SWIMMING, that the inevitable nap followed... swimming is, after all, HARD WORK!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: This morning things are very normal, very quiet... As tired as I am after a very long but good day yesterday I am grateful and reflective on how nice these mornings are. Lola is camped out on my lap as I type this condo, as she is every morning. This continues to be one of my favorite times with her. Now if she would only stay that way.... of course she didn't. :roll: :roll: More plant digging yesterday. again. more raiding the recycling bin, hauling out whatever looked good. again. more..... EVERYTHING! AS Nicholas always says: "Grammie, Lola is not EVERYTHING!" yes... that she is! :shock: :lol: :lol: Yesteday when nciholas and Williamarrived, Bug was camped out on a fleece blanket next to the sofa. Nicholas was very excited to see him there, and, for once (YAY!) he moved very slowly so he could maybe pet Bug. Kudos to Bug! he waited, let Nicholas pet him, one, before leaving the scene in search of William... It was kinda cool. Nicholas was so excited. "GRAMMIE!!!!!!! I got to pet Bug!!!!' :lol: :lol: :lol: I wrote briefly about my cat wall, photo wall, yesterday.So... I did take a photo or two of it. I like my The CAT WALL, so many kitties are on that wall. It's a nice way to remember them all, those still here, and those no longer with us. Nicholas walks by all the time and waves at Mannie's photos: "Hi Mannie!" way cool. Good times! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river, again, as Nicholas asked for one yesterday. Alot depends on whether we get those predicted rains and winds or not. We may end up at the Aquarium or maybe the Science Center, if things get to "wet and windy" out there. Right now it is very WET out there! I will try and get to condos when I can.

The Cat Wall is beautiful!!!

Yay for fun swim days and closing the pool with so much energy! I can't wait to watch Nicholas in the Olympics!!!

Hopefully today will be a mellow, non-plant day in MusketeerVille. Have a great day, Mchielle!

Oh, Michelle, I ADORE your Cat Wall! (Hey, is that a pic of Mannie on a ladder?!?)
I am inspired to make my own... for now, I have random kitty pics haphazardly magnet-ed to the fridge.

Whether you spend your day indoors our out, I hope it's a good one!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the cat wall! Some of those kitties are from 40 years ago, and I can remember them like it was today. :cool: ah too fun on Nicholas in the Olympics - ya never know! Could be. :-D He so does love the pool. i hops so too on the non-plant day in MusketeerVille - that would be SO NICE! Lola - you reading this???? :lol:

Hi Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) Yes, that is Mannie, climbing a ladder. Back then when he was a youngster he did that all time time: one rung at a time. It was so fun to watch him climb up. :lol: :lol: He so had to see what was on that roof! :shock: silly cat. THX on the Wall. I love it, and do need to rearrange it a bit, remove the skyline photos at the end. well maybe.. no clue where to put them! :roll: LOL on your frig pics. I used to do that too. one day when looking at this hall wall I thought "Hmmmmm prefect spot for all the kitties" It has proven to be just that. THX too on today. Looks like indoors: it is really raining out there. and.... I think I see Mannie waving back! :-D

I love the cat wall. That is so cool with Nicholas. He and Mannie did have a special bond.

Hi Michelle,

The CAT WALL is fabulous! And so many kitties there to remember with love as you walk by. We have only had 3 cats (Alice, Stu, Rusty) and their pictures are on my desk, where I can look at them all the time. But then there is Rusty's woodblock portrait on the wall in the living room, so I guess I can say we have a "cat wall" too!
The pool day with Nicholas must have been great fun. How neat to "touch bottom" in the big pool. That is an accomplishment!

Have a fun day today. I hope the rain lets up so you can go to a river.

Elsa, thanks for the ~O) ~O) . I needed 2 cups after my long day outdoors yesterday.

p.s. Sorry to miss your condo yesterday: we didn't get back until late and I was tired--5 hours of driving to get to and from the trailhead.

Hi Michelle, I also love, love your Cat Wall! What a great idea, and so many lucky kitties to have had you as their Momma. Great pics of both Nicholas and William having breffifs and Lola supervising from the window it appears. Love that pic of Bug. He looks so docile and content. Wow on Nicholas and the swimming. He does really play hard and bet he settled into that sleep really hard and fast.
Elsa, thanks for my coffee and neighbors love you, too. Tell Bug and Lola I'll take three of whatever they are making, as it's always terrific/

WOW!!! on the Cat wall! Fabulous photographs! I love that last portrait of Mannie! I wish I had space for one, the builder believed in lots of doors and not much wall space! But, I'm like Ella, Emma is only our third cat, never allowed to have one as a kid. Allergic aunt! :roll:

I hate to tell you, Michelle, but you are still off on the date, it's the 7th.

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Ours has been GREAT! well the traffic was a major annoyance, always is when we have rain. it's like the skies open up and the idiots get behind the wheel. :shock: Other than that - we had fun Today was full of rains winds and lots of snow in the mountains here. This storm wasn't as nasty as the last one, but dang! rains have been non-stop, winds had a good punch, and it is just dark and gloomy out there. what a day.... It took us 1.5 hours to get to Seattle today, omg... NUTS!, as the driev i usually 30 minutes. :shock: :roll: The aquarium won out today. Fine by me! I love that place. :-D Not so much the amount of time it took us to get there, but all inside was fun. Shesshhh Nicholas has such fun there, such excitement. William was awake the whole time, really focusing on what his big bro was talking about. He followed every move, smiled when Nicholas went to explain something to him. They are going to be quite the pair. The two octopus were the big hit today. They are fun to watch. One of the workers spent time with Nicholas teaching him things, he listened too, had alot to say to her as well. I lost count on the number of times I answered the question: "what's that?" :lol: :lol: :lol: it was fun. Anemones were fun too. He was so insistent on poking them, he did well with that, gentle so not to damage or hurt them. Another one of those repeated observations: "Look grammie! He grabbed by finger!" yupp, that he did, those slimy things... :? :cool: . Anyways - a fun day, a long one too, but fun. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrows condo.

HI Melissa - well carp on the date. took me a few, but I finally got it right. I think,..... :lol: :lol: :lol: THX on the cat wall. it's something special for me. all the kitties from years gone by. I think so too on Nicholas - he always waves when he goes by, or says HI. Kinda cool. The weather never did clear - just one big long rain storm today. oh well, we had such fun indoors today. all was good!

Hi Ella - Many thanks on the cat wall. There must be close to 20 kitties there. Kinda cool. I like your version as well. Desk placement is good, once sees them often then. :-D and yes - pool day was fun, it always is. He was so proud of the things he did yesterday: touching bottom was a biggie, and going in head first was another. It is great! THX on today - no river, the rains never did stop, just got worse. Maybe tomorrow for the river, sure hope so! and no worries on the condo - I udnerstand ho it is. I hope your hike was good.

Hi Ann - how is Katie???? THX on teh cat wall, I really do enjoy it. Alot of furkids are on that wall. THX for your comments too. I feel lucky to have been able to care for them all. THX too on the breffis pics. Bug is exactly that: docile and content - very much like Mannie. :cool: :-D oh yes on Nicholas and the pool - he really does: plays long an hard, and with such enthusiasm. very cool very tired! ;-)

Hi Carla - THX on teh cat wll pics. I love it too when Nicholas waves to Mannie, or says hi to him. He still remembers his buddy. Yes, the breffis no share is funny. NO WAY is always his responce. NOBODY gets his waffles! :lol: :lol: :lol: THX too on today - it was good, we had a ton of fun.

WOW on the cat wall!! It is just fantastic! You have had a lot kitty love through the years, and what a wonderful way to remember them all :-D

What fun the energizer fish had, and he looks so sweet sleeping after his hard work :-D Love seeing William's expressions change as he gets older~ he is as cute as his big brother :-D

Hi Jane - THX on the cat wall. I really enjoy it, am glad I decided so many years ago to put one together. And yes - there are alot of kitties on that wall. We never did have just one. There were often three, as many as five sometimes too. Yes too on the boys. The pool is always a winner. It will be fun when we can begin to get William in the water too. Me too on William - he has got alot of fun faces that he makes. Really cool, and I love his smiles when he sees Nicholas. :-D
