I haven't been posting b/c I haven't been doing daily BG checks. I have been doing random BG checks, and Lee Lu is averaging 160... highest 211 AMPS on 9/26, lowest is 106 at +11 on 10/2. I'll do a curve test on Sunday. We are doing a fat 1.5u - skinny 1.75u x 2 day right now (its so hard to get it exact with the syringes that are only 1u increments!). Last BG test was yesterday 11/6 PMPS at 164. Test before that was on 11/3 at PMPS 131. All these are in the blue using the SS template.
This is very difficult getting her in the zone. It seems 2units is too high b/c it starts her out in low 200's then drops her down in the low green (54, 47, 31), even though she did not exhibit any hypo symptoms. Is it OK to be in the blues?
Also, she decided to pee inappropriately (between the toilet and the shower tub) in the upstairs bathroom yesterday. I'm a little confused b/c there's a box in the upstairs bedroom that she uses, and it was clean. She peed in the other boxes downstairs. I'm hoping this is isolated. However, the urine seemed sticky, which worries me that while she is reading in the blues, she is still spilling sugar in her urine. Maybe she should be in the greens even if it dips into the 30-50 range, hard to tell what is going to be best for her. She acts totally fine otherwise, good fur coat, lively, active, sassy mouth. She does still seem to drink and pee more than the other cats.
