Re: 11/6 Zener PMPS 230
Mostly green, then blue at the end and yellow at the start of PMPS. We're not sure if the extra drop or the new pen is responsible for these better numbers, or he's a cat. Thanks to all for stopping by Zener's condo today and cheering him on. Appy has been decent today, yard patrol in progress. It's too dark for poo patrol to get out there even with the grandma mag flashlight.
@Ann & Maggie - it was a lovely cycle for the mighty Z, much better numbers than lately. And the new container of yogurt was delicious. ;-)
@Squeaky & KT - we agree on the black cats rule! We are staying toasty, forecast tonight for the low 16F - it's that time of year!
@carla - mostly a green surf the AM cycle, who knows what the evening will bring.
@Doreen & PeePee - appy is an ongoing issue with us, so we are grateful when it is good, even if chemically encouraged. The ground squirrel provides endless entertainment interspersed with evening visits from a very cheeky young skunk.
@Ann & Tess - THANKS for the info on cypro from Drs Foster & Smith. We still have cypro from our vet so we have not re-ordered. When we do, we will definitely go to the cheaper. We got started with thrivingpets.com to get Cerenia tablets when our vet wasn't able to get it, so we order Cerenia and Ondansetron from thrivingpets.com Zener takes the tiny bits in pieces of pill pocket very easily, so we haven't tried the liquid. Good to know it is available! We give 1mg Ondansetron before his AM and PM first meals everyday, then we add in cypro as needed, which has been regularly lately. If Tess isn't nauseated then the Ondansetron may not be necessary. We had read here that you should not give appy stimulant to a nauseated cat, and Zener periodically goes through pukey episodes, so that's why we use both.
@Wendy & Neko - poison patrol marches on. We got the Addiction venison food today. Tillie thought the first two servings were delicious, then blech. Zener thought it was disgusting. That brand is so darn expensive, we won't be experimenting with it for long. And yes, both kitties are watching the ground squirrel from outside. We're a hardy bunch up here in the mountains.
@Cleo & Jane - we sure like those pretty blues and greens! A new container of yogurt did the trick with Tillie.
@Tara & Buster - good numbers and good appy = great day!
@Kim & Twice - between appy ups and downs and poo patrol, we are busy beans!
@Amy & Trixie - we had forgotten how pretty greens could be and how they could make the beans a little nervous. nailbite_smile
Hope everyone has a calm and drama free Wednesday in LL.
