Today we are stating off with a low yellow. I have been seeing great differences lately. Weezer is eating only about half what she was a week ago and her urine output has decreased greatly over the past couple of weeks. She goes to 4 U tonight, baring dramatic action today.

Today is our 2nd cat food making project. The last time our recipe was based on 10 lbs of chicken legs; we’re doubling that today. I think the batch we make today will last about two months, for two cats. I am still mixing it with canned food. Weezer’s new favorite snack is gizzards, raw and cut into slightly larger than bite-sized pieces. It gives her some good chewing exercise that is missing from the canned diet and she obviously loves the flavor.

Have fun making the catfood, what recipe are you using? We'll be starting agin soon, as soon as the last ingredients come in the mail. Tess loves the hearts for a snack, but the gizzards are OK too. I wish I could get packages of just hearts. Lots of good taurine.

We are following Dr. Lisa's recipe, with some added brewer's yeast. The package of gizzards says "gizzards and hearts, mostly gizzards". Now that's truth in advertising. There was one heart!

That is great progress, less eating and less peeing. Yeah for Weezer! And a great start to today, would be great to see something dramatic. :smile: Have a good one!

That 206 is sooooo close to blue....couldn't get much closer!

Love hearing about the raw food making. Not sure if I am ready to try it yet (I don't do well in the kitchen) but I bet Weezer is loving it.

I leave for a few days and Miss Weezer is still yellow! What's up with that girl?

I'm going to be attempting to make raw too, either this week or next, just gotta find a good grinder first! I bet Weezer just loves her raw diet.

Those flat yellows are mellowing down into blues. Yay!!! Linda, I admire you for undertaking to make raw food!!!! I don't think I could do it. Have fun with the gizzards, hearts, etc. It's great that Weezer likes them!

Lovely numbers for Weezer tonight! We had a cat food making extravaganza as well, but with only about 5 lbs of meat, so a bit smaller in scale! Love the pic!! Willie was getting underfoot, so I sent him outside to play!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
