? 11/6 Trying to find Markies right dose

Hi all.

I see that things changed after we slept over moms house. No more huge early drops and now we have very flat curves with high numbers, with a spike at +12 tonight.

I know we still need time to settle, and Im still wondering what is the correct dose for Markies if this 1.25 is ok if its too much or too low. Can´t understand. Dosé early drops make me think its a big dose and some early lows+mild hypos too. So still confuse about his dose.

Can anyone remind me how many cycles takes to build up again his depot after no dose or a lower dose?

They say up to six cycles. Some cats adjust faster than others.

It's been over a week since Markies has hit green on this dose. I'd say, if you don't see a big drop tonight, you should go to 1.5 in the morning.
 
its worrying me this pink numbers.. look now... no nothing!!! at +6

I know that may be shooting spots also might be thickened, but this was also a not so thickened spot. Unless he dropped a lot between 356 and 326 which I doubt, Im not understanding this new behaviour.

I repeat the 1.25 dose since PMPS kept going down.. but next cycle looks the same I will increase the dose in 025
 
@Marje and Gracie Im sorry to bother you. Today 11/6 at the PMPS cell is not colloring.

Oh.. I see that all following AMPS and PMPS don´t collor. So just with no rushing whenever you have time could you please help me with this?

"shooting a dropping number" means giving insulin when the numbers come down all day, and the lowest number is the preshot you are about to shoot. I did look at the spreadsheet earlier. Today Markie was 326 mid day and 317 at PMPS, so basically the same number with meter variance. He wasn't dropping any more and it was perfectly fine to shoot or even increase. I see he's dropping a bit for mid cycle tonight - that's a normal cycle and good to see him coming down.
