There it is -- another green AMPS. We had begun to see them, then they disappeared when I started feeding more because of her bigger appetite due to Levothyroxine for thyroid. Very excited for human meter to get here.

I have also been feeding at PMPS +8 to help lower the AMPS. Last night I was 1/2 hour late, so maybe I'll stick to that time. I tried +9 too, but I chose to get up at 3am instead of 4am. Maybe I'll do +8.5 again (+9 didn't seem to be different at first). I have an auto-feeder, but don't want to lock Tina up separated from the rest of us.

I had a dream last night, which is very rare these days. It was clear and disturbing - I saw a cat on the side of the road - went up to check him/her, and saw two feet lying beside the cat. I was determined to save the little soul . . . the dream disappeared. Something to do with putting a cat back together again?

Dreams . . . often you dream about the last thing you were thinking before falling asleep. Often they don't make a lick of sense, but I usually give them my own interpretation.;)
Oh my gosh how sweet!!! Tina is getting more bold - she will gladly take those hugs, and give a bunch back! Does Yoyo purr? Tina is my only cat that doesn't purr.

Happy day to you and sweet Elmo. I kind of miss my active dream life - it's been a long time. Now I'm thinking of that kitty who looks like Elmo, and even put his expression on for me. You have a great day Beth:bighug:

I wish the dream hadn't ended so abruptly. I guess deeper sleep won. Enjoy your day Amanda:)
 
Keep experimenting with the 8 -9 with good. I have a feeder and still get up every midnightish to give Bubba his midnight snack. ( momma usually has to pee anyway :rolleyes:)

Bizarre dream. I use to dream about cats on the forum all the time.

Well Bobbie, I think both Bubba and Tina are worth the late night "trouble";) I will change it up a little like you said. And if I would teach myself to nap during the day, that would be awesome.
The cat I dreamt about was a muted red and white - not familiar. That's funny - dreaming about forum kitties!
 
Very nice start. I saw your response to my response haha. If you let me know, I can reformat the SS for you when you start using the human meter. There are some formatting changes that need to be made.

She’s looking great! I’m glad you might be finding out which feeding time helps her.

Yoyo purrs but not the loudest. If he is sleeping on top of my pillow, or if in my lap, then I can hear him purr.
I wonder if you dreamt of the extra feet(paws) because perhaps you saw the picture of Luci in the motel room with her paws coming out of the chair....just thinking :cat:
Hope all is well. Yo was low this afternoon and it was hard getting him to stay up, so I decided to give him less insulin tonight. I know he isn't due for a decrease, but I need some sleep tonight. Not sure if I'll see the difference tonight, but worth a try.

I want to start using the human meter Friday morning, provided I receive it tomorrow like I am supposed to. The meter and strips were in a different order, and only the meter is confirmed to show up tomorrow, so I'm anticipating needing strips to get started by Friday. I already checked Walmart (no luck), but I'll check Walgreens tomorrow.
