Thanks Amy, Pam and Melissa for the visits last night! Wanna come pet my kitty ? Papaya seems to have gotten the "shredder" mood out of her system for now and today finds her friendly and purry. She followed me out to the kitchen for breakfast again (I admit I am deliberately a bit slow getting it ready in the kitchen to give her a chance to decide to come see what's happening!) then back to bed after her shot. Again, she tries to purr me to sleep and go polish off the second breakfast as soon as I stop moving, silly cat! It looks like a nice day of surfing for Papaya.

:-D :-D Amy! I just read your report from yesterday  Papaya is awesome! The "Shredder" is such a terrifying name for such a sweet innocent face
Glad she was in a more 'tender' mood with you today. Nice numbers! Hope you have a mint free and happy evening!

Hi Carla & Kim! Someone suggested my door needs, like some have no smoking signs due to oxygen tanks, a "no mint, explosive cat on premises" sign  . . . but she does enjoy sharing mint tea with me without going into shredder mode, just happy (I dry wild mint every summer, so the whole leaves rehydrate almost like fresh in boiling water, and I fish a couple out to let Papaya eat them!). Burt's Bees peppermint foot cream, however, is NOT safe to use unless I am planning to clomp around the house in my steeltoes!

She's quite calm tonight, up again to pink for PMPS but that's actually pretty good for her - it seems like her bounces don't go much beyond pink these days. Yay.

I bit the bullet and went to get my passport renewed today so I can soon do a cross-border trip to stock up on test strips. The passports are good for 10 years now rather than 5, so while the $160 is GAK! right now, it's pretty cheap over the whole 10 years. Um, I don't really want to think of how OLD I will be the next time I need to do this  Anyways, it's supposed to be ready in 10 business days. I have exactly 75 Relion Prime test strips left, so it's cutting it close . . . but since it is possible to make it until I can get to Grand Forks/Crookston, I reeeeeeally don't want to spend $75 on a package of Canadian strips meanwhile, especially after the cost of the passport  I'm just glad that Papaya is really not doing too many dives lately, so I should be okay with mainly just preshot and nadir-ish testing.

KELLLLLLLY~! Long time no see, glad you popped in! Yes she is getting a little less fond of the black-to-green-and-back routine so the rainbow is made up of fewer colours now at least . . . maybe one of these days she'll just go down to blue and stay there . . . but I'll take what I can get which for now is a lot of pink PS but plenty of blue and green in between! I hope you and Tomcat are doing great :-D
