Yesterday's Condo
Good Morning everyone! It's a warm and humid start to the day today! I went out for a bike ride yesterday morning but the wind was blowing so much I called it after 5 miles...too much for this old lady's first ride of the season.
Soon things will settle down and I hope to be back out on the trail for some longer rides.
Luci is stuck in the lemon orchard today...it seems as if the reduction she 'earned' hasn't done a thing for her...so today is her last chance to get down out of that lemon tree nest and show me that she's got what it takes to do a little beach time or some surfing.
Speaking of beach time...I think I need to revisit the beach myself...it's so very peaceful out there early in the day...quiet and the waves are gently rolling in..the water thankfully is still clear - sometimes it gets murky either from the roiling surf or the discharges by the civil engineers releasing water from Lake Okeechobee - in preparation for this big rain event we're going to get from Hurricane Eta they have to release 30,000 gallons per minute - which washes down the river and into the bay - and makes the water look icky...brownish...someday they'll figure out how to put that water back into the glades where it belongs..
Have a great day everyone! I hope your kitties surf safely!
