Do you know yet when you will be getting new insulin? It will be interesting to see if once you do if his numbers improve.
I haven't looked at his spreadsheet yet this morning but I don't remember seeing it in the past on it, but one thing that is really helpful is in the comment section of the spreadsheet if you make a notation when you start a new pen. That way you can always go back and look to see how many days you have been using the same pen and when the numbers start getting wonky. That way if you see a pattern of say great numbers for 45 days or 60 days and then a slow creep up every time then you will know your pens are only at full strength for a certain amount of time, and then start tracking how many days of use past opening so you can judge about when you are going to need to toss the old one and open a fresh one to maintain steady numbers.
