Happy time-change Sunday LL!

Sure was weird waking up to daylight. The furfamily was totally off kilter. Drooler was barking to go out, we had 2 kitties in the bed chewing toes. The 3rd kitty in bed was purring SO loud doing his best to be a proper alarm clock. Jetta was wandering from room to room bellowing a very sad tale. Even the bird was out of sorts and tried to bite me when I got her out of her bedtime cage. Jeez guys! Can't a bean sneak in one extra hour of sleep once a year?!!??!

I was happy with Jetta's AMPS given the last 2 ugly reds. Hoping the bouce broke since she came steadly down overnight. Then again, no diving please Jetta!!! cat_pet_icon Busy day with our local Taste of the Town festival - yum!- and celebrating my DSFs birthday.

Enjoy celebrating and the Taste of Town....love food festivals! Happy to see Jetta out of "that" color! Enjoy a sunny food filled day :-D

:lol: I hear ya on the off kilter - it was the same here. none of them got the concept... no sleep in for this bean. :roll: :-D

Nice start to this cycle - keep it up Jetta! Who was purring? How old is Raisin now? Enjoy your day. Sounds yummy.

Jetta signed our permission slip- off the the festival we go!

Hi Liz, Ranger- the tabby American Bobtail-was the one purring like a maniac. The 2 kittens were the toe nibblers of course. Little Raisin is such a doll. She's so sweet-she purrs instantly if you just glance her way. She's turning into DHs best bud. She's I think 12 weeks old now, best estimate anyhow. I need to get some pictures loaded. She is turning tortie on us. We call her the black cat imposter. She's got grey stripes and stray white hairs and some orange tossed in if you look at her in the right light. Really unique.

Well the board crashed so I couldn't get help before shooting. I tested at 10.25 and got 170. I fed her then too. So I was shocked to see 143 at PMPS. But I remembered my condo from a few weeks ago. Shoot low to stay low. I decided this might be our big break to get a good streak of pretty numbers. My only hesitation was that I shot a dropping number. What's done is done. But should I have shot full on the dropping number? I'm guessing I need to test more tonight?

And does it mean anything that I fed her at the end if her cycle and she still dropped?

Definitely want to see some pictures of little Raisin. What a lucky girl! Can't help much with your question except that testing is your (and Jetta's) friend. :smile: I know how you feel after seeing all those high numbers, you're ready for something good.

i don't know, but i wouldn't sweat about it. i would test and monitor her, however and see where she's going. as long as you're stocked with strips and high carbs you'll be ok. you know what to do with low numbers, right? if not, print out the directions in the sticky now so you're prepared if the board goes down again.

i noticed it was a sad board when i got on a few minutes ago - just bare bones and not quite right. it's still having trouble. are you part of the facebook group so you can post there if you need help & this one is down?

Thanks Liz and Julie. Julie- I got lot of low number training early on- so I'm good without the board, but it's always nice to have a hand to hold even if you know your way. ;-)

I'm not part of the facebook group. I've searched and never found it. What's it under?

it's just called Lantus Land. i posted a link on the "ot anyone having trouble posting" thread, but that's the URL when i'm on the page, i don't know if it gets you to the right spot to request to join.

i thought you knew how to handle low numbers - but i totally get it about wanting someone else around. it's just a little comforting.
 
The board has been wonky tonight, but seems to be sorted now. Maybe it broke its bounce? :lol: :lol: :lol:
We've shot dropping numbers a couple of times, but only after we had data to support it, or what we thought was enough. ;-) We've had mixed results from nothing much happening to drama with strips and steering. We keep repeating the "shoot low to stay low" mantra too. Remember Jetta - no diving!
