I just don't understand Jades #'s. All the reds scare me for her. I know it's only been 10 days but I feel like we should be able to see some sort of pattern. Am I not getting the insulin in properly? I know when I have gotten a fur shot because the smell of Lantus is so distinct and I don't smell it on her fur. I try for the flank area but most times have to shoot where I have access at the time and that's the scruff. She senses when I'm coming at her and even though I don't think she even feels the shot, she gets skittish. I know it's from the ear poking. She really doesn't like that (who would?!). I feel like while I'm trying to do my best for her, I'm not really doing much at all. 
Also, the lack of sleep is starting to catch up to me.
