Started new dose of 1.75 units this morning.
I’m getting the impression that picking Jack’s food up two hours before his morning shot does not help get a more accurate preshot. Because all he does then is go into emotional spasms of stress and angst as soon as he realizes it’s missing, and the number shoots up even faster than if I don’t worry about it. (Also, he lets me get no more sleep.) He is a cat that has always been very worried about the presence of food. In general, he will actually overeat less if I keep his bowl more full, cause then he’s not as worried that it won’t be there later. I can’t certainly tell he’s been very hungry in his past, even if it was years ago. It’s like a phobia. I know he’s also more hungry because of his high BG, but it’s mental too; he’s been that way as long as I’ve known him.
Oy cats.
