Hi! It has now been over 2 weeks since I gave Emma insulin. She seems to be handling things quite well, especially when I can give her a snack at +7 (easier to do during day cycle than night cycle). My only new challenge is that Emma no longer gobbles up all her food at test time; if I give her a big meal, she leaves some and eventually, reluctantly, will come eat it later. Makes it hard to time snacks so that she eats when I want her to eat.
But that's small stuff... I think the big stuff is... she's almost in remission? Her average AMBG has been 98 (90 in last 7 days), and average PMBG was 86 (80 last 7 days). How would I know if she is indeed in remission, and what can I do to make it more likely to stick?
<3 Thanks to everyone for their support in this journey!
