We're doing our first official curve today! Our numbers aren't great, so it's looking like we'll probably want to try our first dose increase tomorrow from 1 unit to 1.25? I was hopeful early in the week with our few tests in the 100s, but we've been mostly in the 300 range lately.

Congrats on completing the curve. Good luck with the increase to 1.25 units. Sometimes cats will show a little action when they switch to a different insulin, but it may not last.

It is possible today was a bounce day and not the best day for a curve. She did a good sized drop from PMPS to +3 last night. Fast drops can also cause bounces. Other the other hand, you did gather some data. Looks like her onset might be after +2 (not uncommon).

She dropped a lot to +4 again tonight. Apparently it would have been more useful to do the curve tonight instead of this morning. Is there any way to tell before you get too far into it that it's a bounce day?
