hear ya on the auto feeder. It took Mannie several prompts, for what seemed like forever. Finally - success! Come on Curry - there is good stuff in there!

Hey Tena, I like the way you stack the #'s in your SS. Hope you don't mind if I copy.

When you come home and there's food in the feeder, is Curry ravenously hungry? Like he didn't know the food was there?
Or just decides to go ahead and eat then. Gandolf, it seems to me at these lower numbers, eats a larger meal then sleeps it off (kinda like a python- what a visual). Less like a grazer. Grains for grazing. Meats for longer lasting slower digestion? Does this make sense? When his #'s are high though, it seems he can't get enough, but that's because the systems are working right? Just thinking.

Oh yes! I do need to mention: There really is a mouse in the house. Gandolf and I have both heard it. It's been around a few days. But it's getting colder and the mouse is getting bolder. So Gandolf is on alert this morning. Hanging around where there was "sound" in meatloaf perch...listening cat(2)_steam . Wonder if that affects his BG? Mouse is LC, right?!

Cee.....Regarding the food in the feeder....When I'm home w/Curry I continue to prompt her if she just looks at the food. She is still in the learning mode right now....I suspect of a full month of training that we will have this down.....It reminds me of when I used to coach swimming and trying to get one of the swimmers to change their stroke to be more efficient.....It was definitely a process and important to praise when doing it correcty...... And feel free to copy away.....I've copied everyone else here.....Great role models on this message board,eh?.....I wonder what my girls would do w/a mouse.....they like to watch and play w/the tree cockroaches here.....I know they sound gross.....And yes...the mouse is LC :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Had my niece over for dinner. Curry didn't seemed stressed by her or the ATT tech guy fixing the cable earlier today. Curry ate but was more intrigued by having company over so eating wasn't a priorty w/her tonight. Ugh....Doesn't she know that she dives at +3 or even +2....especially if she doesn't eat much.......So gave gravy at +2 which helped her numbers....She really did a nice surf all day......I'll have to see what she does tomorrow......This morning gave food a couple of extra times to help her to surf.....great for when I'm at home......not so great if I'm at work......Glad I've been playing w/the feeder.....or will just need to leave food out for her.
