Still not crazy about seeing blue (any shade) but with all the time changes, stress and general craziness going on around here lately, I'm hoping it's just a temporary thing and China will get back to her pretty all green spreadsheet soon

Mom's sounding better today...stronger, less short of breath and making more sense (Thank God!....and all the vines and prayers from here!!)

Sure hope she continues to improve....sent off to Amazon for a new automatic pill organizer for her that has alarms, lights and locking mechanism's so I can load it and it will alarm until she takes the pills and lock her out of the rest until it's time for her to take them.

Also getting her a new clock to help with what day of the week it is

Hopefully with another day of rest, she'll be able to go to PT on Tuesday and not only have a little more strength in her legs, but a little more sense about her too.

@tiffmaxee ....she lives in a small one bedroom apartment....as much as I'd love to have someone with her all the time, there just isn't enough room

I hope China gets back to surfing greens for you soon. I'm glad your mom is doing better today. Sending prayers.

Chris, could she be dehydrated? If she's not getting enough liquids, that could definitely account for the confusion and weakness.

China, you are a very good girl to get back to your duties in the lagoon and let Mama concentrate on her Mama.

Hang in there, Chris. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Also something we learned, in addition to the dehydration issue which it's true can be a big contributor to symptoms ( we gave my mom cases of Smart Water), another thing that can cause confusion and those symptoms in geriatric patients is a UTI. Often so mild that it is missed on tests.
Hugs, it's a tough road..:bighug::bighug::bighug:
China, the lagoon is calling youuuuuuuuuuuuuu, glad to see you answered!

They said she was a little dehydrated at the ER last Thursday and gave her fluids....they tested her urine then too and said nothing showed up

I've been encouraging her to keep drinking but I'll remind her again to keep at it
