Happy Caturday!

Callie dropped a lot between AMPS and +2.25. She got her reg LC snacks at +1 and right after the +2.25 test. Do you think it is ok to test again at +3 and see if she slowed herself down (she usually does) or do you think I should give a little MC now?

Also, Callie's patterns have been a little confusing to me lately. Does it look to you like she's been bouncing the last few days since the 11/3 string of greens? Her bounces never used to include blues but based on her momentum this am, it seems like she's clearing a bounce to me. Or am I reading it wrong?

Thanks!

She is still pretty high. Stick with LC. You can feed at +3 and test at +4.
Ok, sounds good. Thanks, Bhooma!

If you get a chance, could you please have a look at Callie's ss and let me know what you think about whether the last couple of days have been a bounce or ...? Just trying to figure out why some days the same dose will bring her down to good numbers and on other days she barely touches blue.

Is she in pain because of the arthritis? That could elevate numbers. I tried Cartrophen (Adequan equivalent available in Canada and Europe) for my civvie Budge and it did nothing for her.

Meloxicam really helped her but it comes with a black box warning in the US.

They hide pain so well but I don't think it is her arthritis. We did a three-day course of Onsior and have been using CBD oil along with the Adequan shots and she seems to be getting around with more ease (including some jumping) and we haven't seen her limping. Sorry Adequan didn't work for Budge but I am glad you found something that did. I will check out Meloxicam (US black box warning noted) in case we need something more in the future. Elise also mentioned cold laser which I'm going to ask our vet about. I know he does acupuncture but am not sure about laser therapy.

Callie did have an asthma attack the other day so maybe it was that. (I think I jinxed us after saying she hadn't had one in a while.) Her asthma had been so well controlled... I am really hoping that the two attacks she's had since her FD diagnosis are just a weird blip and not her new normal. :(
