Good Sunday morning!

The kitters all let me sleep in today!

Things are going OK. Foster kitty Bermuda is going for an X-ray of her leg. I think she may have damaged the pin setting...so there maybe surgery again in her future. ohmygod_smile Amazing what they can do ...even in a cage! She overturned her whole cage set-up the other night....including the litter box?! confused_cat

Gary has taken to jumping the baby gate to go visit her and display for her, so I have to watch him and keep him from playing terrorist with her. nailbite_smile

Attie walks around here like an old grandpa watching the youngin's play. Although the other day he rediscovered the kitty cube. Gary didn't know how to handle that!

Holidays are coming and the turkey has already been bought. Locals had them for 0.69#! Couldn't pass that up at all. Pet sits are being scheduled and I'm booked solid for Christmas already. Billing for that goes out later this week.

I still have room in the Thanksgiving schedule, but this week and next weekend I have overnights with some dogs....

So, hopefully Attie continues to be reasonable about his BG's. The other day he dropped down into the 50's but him and these food fits are making it hard to tell if he is low due to food or low because it is really too much insulin.

You all have a great day! I have shopping, dollar store, and pet store chores today!

wow beth, that sounds like a bit of a zoo! how did she turn over her cage? silly kitter, i'm sure a rain of cat litter was less than fun!

whenever i read your pet sitting adventures i ponder whether or not i'd like to do that. it tempts me. i keep thinking i have to figure out what i'm going to do when i grow up . . .

She overturned her set-up in the cage, not the cage itself. The Dog kennel weight close to 40#. I discussed the issue with the shelter vet-tech and she said Bermuda would do that there too, so she wasn't surprised. She is a young cat, they estimate less than 1.5 yrs. So, when she is feeling good...cage rest is a challenge. ohmygod_smile

Well it does feel like a zoo at times! Although Gary has finally graduated to big kitty college and now has run of the house 99% of the time, even overnight. He does get the masterbedroom though if I am leaving.

As far as pet sitting, even with the 'adventures' some days it is the best thing I ever did. Starting my own business and working with animals. I may have had to simplify my life for awhile to be able to afford starting the business, but I can tell at less than year into it, it has been worth it.

Once you get your steady clients (daily dog walking) it starts to settle into place. I still need two more walker clients to meet my business plan, but I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: 11/6 Atlas AMPS 166, PMPS 217

Well Mr. Finicky is still having his 'food' issues! I swear he doesn't help matters.

I'm off to bed for the evening....so last check on Bermuda, the rest of the crew already seems to have called it a night too...

Just had a call for a walk-thru for a lady with 8 cats...she is talking about paying double my normal rate...based on my standard of care I'll need to explain to her ...paying me more won't improve my service to her pets. Unless she has a tiger hiding in her home...then maybe  .

Hi guys! it is nice to see an Attie condo - things sound crazy in your house hole, but a good busy crazy. love the stories!!

I hope all works out OK for Bermuda's leg. poor thing!
