Shes doing a bit of moving around this am but is mostly between her 2 current favorite sleeping spot and the water fountain. I havent been able to stalk the litterbox yet but will whenever the chance presents itself. Offered 1.5oz Wellness core Duck,Venison and Liver she ate appx half of offered food with encouragement. Gave 1U Lantus insulin and will check at +3, +6, and +9 unless situation demands otherwise.

What is a condo? I keep seeing it mentioned and am guessing it means previous conversations
I am hoping to see better numbers today since she is taking a while to clear a Bounce.

We are in the blue at +3 heres hoping will stay that way and not drop into the green like Sunday (well under 50 on the green that is ). Shes out of her cabinet and laying down on a soft fuzzy donut. Has atleast one of the "P"s down today and thats Purring :-D

hey sis, looks like sanny bug is doin better today. was looking at her spreadsheet, and she is sure being a rainbow kitty.

the condo is what this post is just how she's doing, and as you get numbers you edit your subject line with the +3 etc.

hopefully she won't hypo but i think she's probably just finishing her bounce, the others definatly have more experiance though

Her sugar is still dropping but not as far as it was earlier. Is 131 at +9 next check will tell the tale and hopefully she levels off. This has def been one heck of a first bounce for us. Thanks to everyone who has helped advise me on what to do.

Yep, Bug is a Tortie!! We used to call her a Cali-Tab as she is tabby striped esp in the dark areas. Its really funny with her stripes, when she lays in the middle of the floor it looks like shes been flattened by a tire because of how her stripes run :-D You are right about no piece of clothing, esp since I have 2 other Tabbies and a black and white Tuxedo.
I held her Insulin till 9pm or +1 after eating and her sugar raised up to 177, will recheck at 11 to be sure she doesnt turn around on me. I was able to get a urine sample and she is still neg for Ketones.

At +3 her bg reading was 209 , and at +8 364 (slept through the +6 time last night, think I shut off my alarm :mrgreen: ) SHe was up and moving chatty and purring. Asked for a bit of food, so gave her about half of her normal amt af food and she ate some of that before wandering off.
Does anybody have any ideas how to get her to eat since she isnt eating very well at all?
