Good morning LL!

Exciting night for us. Tarragon had a hairball at 12. We got that cleaned up and were all snuggled back in bed. At 2:15 the house shook from an earthquake. Tarragon and Turnup both took off like a shot under the bed. Got them back up and snuggled in again. Another earthquake at 2:30. Did it all over again and another one at 2:45. Ugggggh. There were 6 total but only 3 shook. There is a fault line by OKC, but that is 100 miles west. They say these were closer to Tulsa. No damage other than tired and irritable fur kids and beans.

I am off in a couple of hours to host a baby shower for BFF. DH left for dad's day at OU and will be gone until tomorrow. Condo visiting tonight.

Have a great day!

Hi Melissa, that's scary with the earthquake. I can imagine how scared Tarragon and Turnup must have felt. Was there any damage in your city? Enjoy the baby shower for your friend, so nice, and have a wonderful day.

Yowsa on the earthquakes! Tarragon is showing some nice action this morning. Have a good one.

Re: 11/5 Tarragon AMPS 275 +2/191

Well, the quakes don't seem to have effected Mr. T's numbers badly. Yikes on the quakes, I've lived in CA nearly 15 years and never felt one. oddly, the only quake I ever felt was when I lived in IL. :?

Re: 11/5 Tarragon AMPS 275 +2/191

Of the few things in life that I expect stability from, the earth is right at the top of the list! I'll take canes to quakes any day!

Nice start for Mr. T

Re: 11/5 Tarragon AMPS 275 +2/191

oh wow (!!) on the earthquakes... not my fav thing. We are so prone to them here, and even still, one never quite gets used to the sensation. Glad all is well though.

Nice start for Mr T today - like that +2. :-D

Have a great day today!

Re: 11/5 Tarragon AMPS 275 +2/191 +4/97

I feel the earth move, under my feet....
Now I am singing that song in my head. ohmygod_smile
Glad you survived it with no damage...but earthquakes are very scary. We had one in Florida and my DH didn't believe it. But I had experienced one when I lived in LA. Scary feeling....
Look at those beautiufl numbers Tarragon! Yay! Keep up the great work!

What an exciting night for you....from hairballs to earthquakes....yikes!! I'm with Linda on this one, give me a hurricane over an earthquake....at least you know its coming!

Enjoy the baby shower and I hope you have a much quieter night tonight, Melissa!!

Re: 11/5 Tarragon AMPS 275 +2/191 +4/97

Okay, so now I have that song in my head, too...thanks Pat!!! I've felt a couple here in Las Vegas, but not in years.

Hi Melissa!!!! I've been gone toooo long!! It looks like Tarragon is doing well. When I have more time, I'll go check out his SS to see how he's been doing lately...gotta keep up on all my fav kitties!!

Hope you have a terrific day!!

   what a funny condo for dealing with quakes and hurricanes!!

going to put Carole King on the cd player :-D

I will never forget our first quake in california...
one minute prior to the actual event,
both our dogs raced out the back door and jumped in the swimming pool
of course, the silly humans didn't get the hint

gorgeous greens, Tarrie...
and glad you are all safe!

Re: 11/5 Tarragon AMPS 275 +2/191 +4/97

Had my first earthquake this summer--YIKES!!!!! Thought I was having a stroke ohmygod_smile
Till I realized.....Hurricanes had that too this summer, remember I evacuated???
What next a Volcano???(better not say it-antijinx)
Poor babies got so frightened!! Soryy for you all..
Moonie slept thru the earthquake, as Miss non- chalant!!

Meanwhile, Look at T.'s numbers!!!! Beautiful!! Hugs & Lub from us!!! Have a good night.

Re: 11/5 Tarragon AMPS 275 +2/191 +4/97

Tarragon is looking FINE today so obviously the earthquake didn't bother him TOOO much!!

That so surprises me....we've lived in OK and of course my family is from TX and earthquake never came into our thoughts. We actually lived in Alaska during the Good Friday earthquake in 1964...8.5 on the Richter scale. That was an EARTHQUAKE!!! I was just a kid but I remember it like it was yesterday. So when I moved back to AK as an adult, the earthquakes that were around 6....HA!! Nothing to me     Tremors!!

Hope you have a great day with the baby shower!!

Re: 11/5 Tarragon PMPS 305

Oh wow on the earthquakes Melissa!  I hope they weren't too terribly strong and no mo aftershocks!! Poor kitties were probably so scared, good thing the beans were there to cuddle the stress away.

Tarragon sure had a nice day today, but yuck on that PMPS.

I hope you enjoy your alone time tonight and don't get too lonely ;-)

Re: 11/5 Tarragon PMPS 305

Wow...exciting day indeed! We (apparently) had an earthquake here last summer. I was busy cleaning bathrooms at the time and didn't notice it. My herd slept through it. Personally, I question whether or not it really happened  !!!

Re: 11/5 Tarragon PMPS 305

PMPS was totally my fault. I had to leave for the baby shower and knew I would be gone for 6 hours so I left him out the good stuff since he was dropping so fast. Bad bean, but what are you going to do? ohmygod_smile

Re: 11/5 Tarragon PMPS 305

But the day was a really nice day of numbers for T.

The earthquake and the hairball--which is preferable?

Have a good night tonight, guys, and no disturbances of any kind!!

Re: 11/5 Tarragon PMPS 305 +4/220

I am pretty sure mother nature never wants my animals to sleep again. We just had a 5.2 that lasted over a minute. Tarragon and Turnup are nowhere to be found and Charlie spent 5 minutes running in circles and barking. If I could find T, I would check his BG and see what it did.

Re: 11/5 Tarragon PMPS 305 +4/220 Earthquake again :(

Tarragon! Turnup! here's a kitty with your earthquake survival kit! put it on fast. we can't have anything happen to you!

Nice recovery, Tarragon! Almost to the blue floor - you can do it. Jeesh, enough of the earth shaking.

Poor furkids... we felt it here in KC, though I didn't realize it at first. I have hardwoods, and the sofa started moving, but like Willie was on the back of it scratching his ear or taking a vigorous bath. I reached back to pet him, and he wasn't there. I'm sleepy and dismissed it... but happened to see a friend mention it on FB and was like "oh! that's what that was!!" ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile Thankfully, Willie's only concern has been the status of his food bowl.

Hope you guys are done with all this craziness!
