Got up late this morning so shot was late :( I was going let DLST adjust us from 9am to 8am for shot time, but now that I moved almost a half hour, I'm thinking I might as well finish the adjustment over the next couple of days.

Still nothing. I haven't been posting daily condos because it seems kind of like watching paint dry right now.

Starting to wonder if this pen of insulin is junk.

If nothing is going on by the next check in with the vet I may talk to her about a round of Clavamox in case there is an infection in Smokey's mouth causing her to just stick. Though she has been on some kind of antibiotic more often than not in the last year and it seems impossible that an infection could have snuck in. We are still over 3 weeks to her dental and her mouth smells bad.

Yeah, pink stinks! But I didn't know it could affect their breath! I hope Smokey doesn't have any dental issues, even if he's not passing the sniff test. Good luck with the vet visit.

Her mouth looks pretty trashy too, but I'm worried the smell is a sign of infection. She did just have a dental last december so she didn't make it very long, I'm hoping that means that there isn't anything too far gone in there and just needs some cleaning up. When I took her in with the BGs high, I mentioned we could need a dental, the vet opened her mouth and in about a second said "whew! Yup. definitely needs a dental!" Smokey is scary to sedate - her bp goes to 6os/30s and her hrate to around 10 bpm - so I know they wouldn't do it just for money. With this crew they don't need to work at it to get my money anyway

She will be my 4th feline dental in the house since the end of August! We've tried brushing, failed on all of them. Taz draws blood, Mitty coudn't hardly eat his gums got too sensitive, Smokey has enough going on - we have to pick our battles, Tiger we will try again after his mouth heals from his extractions, but over 15 pounds and fighting like mad because his mouth was so bad - we just didn't win. Mittens, Smokey and Tiger will all need annual cleanings due to medical issues causing them to be prone to trashy mouths. Poor little Avie feels left out I think.

Kind of expected it, hoped to not see it. Fed a little over an hour before. Everyone was hungry including her and she has gotten so skinny I don't like to keep food from her. Food was ALOT easier the first time around with 3 cats, all the same age that got along. Auto feeders worked just fine then. These 5 cats, not so much.

Come on girl. Momma doesn't want to see any more pink!
