While this can be helpful for getting the pre-shot numbers to lower for some cats, it's not always a good strategy. I'm wondering if the food after nadir is causing your cat's numbers to be a bit higher. How about experimenting and cutting out the food at +8 and see if the pre-shot numbers improve?
