HAPPY OTJ MUFFIN!!!!

Late start for us today...it's been like Grand Central Station around here ALL morning and I haven't been able to get to the computer.

WCR: 4Ps in place and Gracie is feeling fine on her new sk1u dose. She bounced last night but it gave me a chance to get some sleepus. I'm still hoping for some blue today. She and Tobey were little wild animals last night...they were so funny...I've never seen her run so fast. Our house is in two wings and the guest wing has a very long hall; I was in the den. They'd come out from that wing into the den with Gracie chasing Tobey and then they'd do somersaults and crazy flips and then he'd chase her back down the hall. I think they wore themselves out :lol: :lol:

I've got to get to some condos now..esp Muffin!! Have a great day.

Looks like Gracie is coming down nicely for you. Glad to see your kitties are full of piss and vinegar and running around. They are so funny when they do that.

I see you had all our LL kitties #'s in line yesterday. :smile: It's nice to see them all together like that.

I feel so bad - I always seem to miss your condo. I ever told myself today - remember! And then Mannie started diving, the window replacements dudes showed up, and and and.... : excuses!

SO nice that Gracie and Tobey lay so well together. It always makes me smile.

What a nice AM cycle that Gracie had yesterday - YAY!, and WOOT! Looks likes she's on a slow slide down today - might be a great PM cycle. Go Gracie!! You can do it!!

ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile Gracie was at 173 at +5 and her nadir is 6-6.5; she was coming down slowly so I thought...this would be the perfect day to have
lunch with my BFF and take a golf lesson....she probably won't go much lower. Soooo...I get home for her +9 snack and she was at 133! Not dangerous but
it led me to wonder where she HAD been...apparently she surfed at least blue but probably some green and I wasn't here!! BAD MAMABEAN.

So...I thought I better check her +11 and it's 169. In the past, her PMPS has often been a little higher OR occasionally a few numbers lower than +11...close enough to be the same number. I have been shaving her dose. I don't anticipate that she will be much lower than her +11 so I plan to shoot whatever I get; if it's alot lower, I'll wait for it to come up. I have plenty of strips, I'll be here all night, and I think I have the data...but the lowest I've ever shot is 91 and only a few others in the low 100s. Any comments always appreciated.

it looks like you'll be good to go, but if you have any doubts about shooting, post before shooting.

YAY! There's Jill - I would shoot if those were my numbers. Soon you won't even bat an eyelash at them - well most of them.

I too am glad you got out and enjoyed some time with a friend. Gracie just though she'd give you a welcome home present. Mannie likes to do that too. :lol:

nice to know somebody "in the know" is around...and since you're on AZ time too...PERFECT!!

Funny story about my BFF...she told me today that yesterday she was at Walgreens and her car wouldn't start. So she called my DH (we live about 2 mins away from each other and 5 from the Walgreens) but he didn't answer (he was probably busy with Gracie :lol: :lol: ) But there was a sheriff there so she asked him to help her. While
he was looking at her car, he got a dispatch to check a burglar alarm and when the dispatcher gave him the address...it was my BFF's house :shock: :shock: The funny
part was he wouldn't take her with him...he just left her at WG and said he'd come back to help her with her car :lol: :lol: As it turns out, the wind blew a door open so all was ok but the whole thing was pretty funny...to hear your address as the one where the alarm is going off and the policeyman leaves you standing there :lol: :lol:

Just a reminder... The nadir isn't a fixed point. It can change from cycle to cycle. Don't necessarily rely on where you think it will be especially if you tell Gracie you have plans.

So I am learning. This actually freaked me out nailbite_smile nailbite_smile She's never done that before...so she is definitely pulling my chain...

Oh..so you want to go out for a while, eh? Think I'm safe??? Ha...I'll show you!!! I'll teach you to think you can go off and have lunch and not be here to give me your undivided attention.

I also think she read the condo earlier..as soon as I say.. "well, her +11 numbers that I have don't vary much from her PMPS". And then she shoots up. Way to make a liar out of me Gracie face!!! :lol: :lol:

ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile My little devil girl....she is a cornaholic and has not been allowed to have any in months. I made homemade cornbread last night to go with the chili I made. I always put corn in the cornbread (mamabean also a cornaholic). I just sat down on the sofa with my plate on a tray to eat and DH called. Gracie nowhere in sight. I talk to him about 5 mins and turn back around and she has eaten the whole piece of cornbread!! It's like she's a little squirrel with cheek pouches and it's falling out of her mouth :lol: :lol: :lol: Thankfully, she doesn't eat her corn LITTER!!! So...that might be the end of what could have been a lovely night for us!!! Guess the +4 will tell!

Hi Marjorie I missed many condos today long day with my Mom and then saw Megamind tonight wish DS what a great movie :mrgreen: and I am loving this cornbread story sounds like something Do Lou would do I can just see him now dragging off a piece of cornbread hope your night is a good one and that the corn carbs do not send her too high

Hee, hee! A corn-a-holic! I'm staying up late to work on something and your condo is cracking me up! I can just picture Gracie with her cheeks full of cornbread with crumbs on her whiskers. Too cute!

Yeah CD....Gracie is a riot....she keeps me guessing...and yes, she had it on her whiskers. The look on her face was like "WHO ME??"

The other funny thing about my BFF is the sheriff took a long time to come back and when he did get back, he said he stopped to write a guy
a ticket that ran a red light. Insult to injury :lol: :lol:

Maybe.....she's headed down now and after what she did to me today after +5, I think I'll stay up a little longer and catch up on some TIVO'd shows.
