Good afternoon Lantus Land! Sending lots of prayers to Roni and Brad, Dale, and any others who need them.

Gracie had a nice blue day yesterday and a lovely green night. I think her AMPS this morning was a bad strip as she does not come up, go down, come up, and then plummet and there was no food in the equation. But...it's all ok except the +2 caught me off guard :shock: :shock: Normally we use 10% to manage low numbers and I tried the Core Indoor which is 12% according to Dr. Lisa....the 10% is fish and I really like to keep her away from fish. Anyway, looks like the 12% might have worked a little too well. But she's in normal numbers and we are very happy. She has been wild again this morning and also got a treatment from the chiro vet so she's all aligned.

I had to work this morning..had two big meetings and I just got back. We have to run down and get Mike's iPhone and do a few other errands. Hope your day is a great one.

HI Marje. Gracie's numbers sure look great her last 2 cycles. Maybe you finally got all the stars alined for her now. Hope so. Hope she lets you get some rest tonight. Have a good day. :smile:

Hi Marje,
You said that 10% was raising her too much. Have you tried this one? (according to Dr. Lisa's new list)
8% Avoderm Chicken Chunks/gravy ( 234 phosphorus)
Shadow is really liking all the avoderm's especially the swordfish and the tuna/prawns which are super low and they seem to be since she has been going a little lower than her usual after eating them. I try to minimize the seafood too but it's my go to can when she's not wanting
to eat.

Hope Gracie does some more green surfing.

Thanks, Rhiannon! Actually, it's the 12% that we were trying (new) that overdid it. The 10% works well for her. I do have some Avoderm Chicken here for Gus and it's 9%. Gracie won't eat chunk food....it HAS to be pate'. :lol: :lol:

I have to look at the label and see if there are grains in it. Thanks for the funny pic!!

Liz...thanks for asking about Gus. He isn't eating very well. He's not hiding...he spends all his time out with us and he is eating but just not like he normally does :-|
 
Shadow won't eat chunky either. I have to cut everything up into little tiny tiny bits including her shrimp.
I haven't tried making shrimp pate yet. eeww....
