I agree with Jill's plan. Get those syringes and we'll restart tomorrow evening (or sooner, if you get the syringes sooner and the timing makes sense) and we'll see where Essi takes us from there.

Hopefully she'll let you go to bed soon. You must be exhausted.

Ok she is at 75, I have some Purina DRY Cat Chow, Indoor Formula, according to the chart, it has 38 carbs, can I give her some of that? If so how much?

lol! she needs to eat. you could also try putting several pieces on top of her low carb canned food. sometimes that's enough to get alex eating...

It can take several hours for the kibble to kick in, but it has quite a bit of staying power once it does, so should ease your mind when you finally do get to go to sleep. Re the Relion syringes, don't specifically ask them for the ones with half unit markings - I did and they insisted there was only kind that had 1/2 unit markings, so I bought them, got them home, and they were the wrong ones. And of course they wont' take them back. Ask for exactly what Jill said and don't even mention 1/2 unit markings.

Here's a suggestion if you decide to order syringes from Hocks: Item number: A653121. Monoject Ultrafine U-100 Insulin Syringe, 30 Gauge 3/10cc, 5/16 inch Needle (1/2 unit markings). $17.49 for a box of 100. These have nice, flat plungers and are easy to line up with (and between) the lines. They are very accurate. Monoject is a common brand and you might find them in a pharmacy near you, too.

Hope you get some sleep tonight and that tomorrow you can start out fresh with Esmeralda's new, 0.25 dose.

Man, know one is carrying them here. Will try Walmart tomorrow.... And oh crap ive gone thru some test strips, and lancets. Need to restock them toooooo! Tell my husband to go away while I pay for everything tomorrow ;-)

it's been a long couple of days. if you're fading, feed a little more... canned if possible, but kibble ok if she refuses the canned.
don't make this harder on yourself than it has to be. you have to be exhausted...

Took your advise, put a couple of kibles and put it on Essi food. She gobbled it right up. Actually Im ok so far, just getting caught up on some of my tv programs (law & order) I miss during the week. Just dont want her to go back down. I will test her shortly again, and if its up again, I will probley go to bed.
