Hi Melita,
is it possible that there's something else going on, when Georges numbers went off like this it turned out to be bad teeth.
Started with iffy numbers like Chnoudi was getting, bowls not completely empty (big alarm bell for George).

Has he had his mouth looked at properly at the vets (first vet told me all OK and eventually went for second opinion, second vet said he had really bad gingivitis and rotten teeth. He had to have AB and then lots of teeth out.

I think wait and see for the time being, see if she is still trending up/ and doesnt come down.

Another thought
Double check the ingredients on the food Chnoudi is getting now, they may have changed the formula, that happened with some of Georges foods they went up in carbs, and it was reflected in his BG

Hmmm..I see.
Yes, I've noticed that her gums are more pink in the back teeth and there are remnants of food there. It doesn't seem to be very bad, but I'm not an expert. I have to go the doctor.. In July, he had told me that everything is OK but things can change very quickly.

Things do change.

It's worth getting her checked out make sure nothing else is going on.
Infection may be responsible for the rise in BG you are seeing.
Either that or she has a secret potato stash somewhere in the house. :p

A bit lower this evening, keeping fingers and paws crossed it's just a blip.

Yes, I have to take her to the vet soon...

Haha, I wish she had a secret potato stash and, to tell you the truth, I bended down behind the toilet and the laundry and I made an investigation earlier o_O:p
Anyway, I hope she gets better tommorow.. Thank you so much, Gill :bighug:
