Gnashing teeth, scratching head, and just plugging along! Odd day yesterday.

Polly's acting great! Eating with enthusiasim, even if she is a dawdler and a left-over crawler. Curled in her new-found favorite sleeping spot, the hammock type cat tree level in the office by the big window. I guess, in spite of yesterday's oddity, all's well in Pollywood! And that's all I need.

Another busy afternoon. Pick up prescription for eye drops. Fill out paperwork at the hospital for my cataract fix on Friday. Vote. Take Will for an afternoon walk since it's now too dark for an after dinner walk. Where's this life of leisure I was expecting when I retired from my real job, all those years ago!!!!

Mercy, and at one time my biggest worry about retirement was how boring it could be!

Another nice day cycle in Pollywood! :-D Regarding yesterday, I've seen a lot of cats do slides, either up or down, where the cycle is all in one direction. Neko's favorite on Lantus was the pink to blue slide. Scratching or shaking one's head is the appropriate reaction. :lol:

Are you getting your eye operation done in town? Have you thought about what you'll do for a dose on Friday?

Ahh, the myth of the life of leisure. Amazing how things manage to fill that time!

I'm glad Polly is doing so well. Nice slide today. I hope everything goes well with your cataract fix on Friday.

Hi Marilyn! Good to hear all is well with Polly today. her numbers look good today also. Glad shes eating well and enjoying being a kitty in her hammock :-D Hope your cataract fix goes well. I voted today too, and there was no waiting this time(6 hours last time..ugh). I am trying to get used to it getting dark so early myself, as its dark driving home at night now, which I do not care to drive at night! and the kitties are almost transitioned to the time change too. Hope you have a quiet evening.

Looks like a nice gentle slide for Miss Polly today, chances are she will continue down for this evening as well, no drama please! :-D I want to wish you the best for your surgery Friday, though I know modern medicine is getting better all the time, it's still surgery, so just in case, here's some pre-surgery hugs and prayers for a nice painless procedure! :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Most people that I talk to say they are working harder in their "retirement" than they did in their regular jobs! :roll:
