Paisley's 11/3/11 Condo http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=55643&p=602831#p602831

I missed giving Paisley her AM shot. I know the alarm went off. It's been very difficult for me to get up the past 2 nights. The glucometer showed a 11/3 PM +11 but nothing after that. I counted syringes and there were 9 in the packet when there should have been 8. In addition. DH left the canned dog food on the counter this morning after giving Ranger him meds. and Paisley score big there. Apparently DH couldn't get me awake and coherent this morning.

New shot time is 1:45 but I an going to have to move it back to 12:15 for Monday's PM shot as I have a 1pm appointment Monday (40 min. drive). As much as this really messed things up, I think it will work out much better.

Yeah, this morning was a bit embarrassing. I don't generally do well with alarms this past year. Not sure why. I could set my alarm and DH's (on buzzer volume all the way up) and sleep through it, sometimes the entire 2 hours the alarm was going off. It had gotten better but I hadn't been getting very good sleep lately thanks to Paisley. My diet's been a bit carb heavy and I'm not sure how well I'm handling it since I had to quit taking Avandavet. Should be getting more test stuff and blood work this week and see how things are going. My thought with the Avandia issue is that we all die eventually so force a person off a medication that is controlling a medical issue that can lead to things worse than death. Idiots! And now my doc can't get what he needs for the infusions because the FDA wants to take all that over. Once again - IDIOTS!!! We'll get it worked out eventually.

Black is definitely NOT Paisley's color. Pretty in Pink?

WOW! Back in the yellow already. I'm surprised but very pleased. dancing_cat She coming out of this well and I'm hoping it will turn out to be just a blip and we can get back into the Blues and greens.

Anyone have suggestions on timed feeders? That definitely sounds like it would be very helpful. Tomorrow I have a meeting and I'm going to freeze some raw and hope she doesn't eat it frozen, which is a definite possibility.
