Is this most likely a bounce?

I fed him , then a bit more food, +1 and +2...but when I got home at +5 he hadn't eaten +3 nor +4's food from the times cat feeder........I hope this changes as I will seriously depend on it when I need to go to a more serious job.
 
Yes. Looks like he was in good numbers all night and is now bouncing.

You could try feeding him in the autofeeder when you are at home and get used to it?

Yes absolutely I have started in the last couple of days really whenever I am in doing the feeding method, place/feeder that I would use if I was out, so that he can get used to it. Its early days. Tomorrow I can be with him for each feed, encouraging him etc.
