Good Morning LL!! (ahhhhh... the good stuff!), and Happy Furday!

I am sorry not to have visited anyone last night. It was a sad night here- a friend of mine lost his kitty yesterday - his 3 yr old furkid was hit by a car, the driver never stopped, just left him there on the road to die. My friend is devastated - this kitty was only three years old, and was his breath, his life, his smiles, his constant companion, his bright spot over three years of adversity. My heart aches for him....

well.... i will share this from yesterday's condo, as it made me laugh, alot... I was still searching for my blue kitty Mannie as he seemed to be missing, all I am finding is this yellow one. Ann thought she'd help out...

If there is not some improvement in Mannie's numbers over the next day or two the dose will go up on the weekend. I'd prefer to wait til then, when I don't have DGS in my care. Looks like we will be back at Mannie's favorite dose - 2.50u, the one he was on for over four months... wow, amazing and lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon It was encouraging to see the low blues last night, better amps this morning. I hope he is back on track!

All is well in MannieLand. I am so relieved!!: the kitty choir was back, and performed flawlessly this AM - not like yesterday. Phew - I so need that back up alarm! and the whacking!! they were funny today - very slow and soft and gentle whacks. what a comedy!! We had a great test feed shoot: Lots of purrs from the Nanner King! Sound barrier purrs! Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used. :shock:YES!!!!!! :razz: now that the basics are cared for they are all curled up in their beds, faces buried, down for some major napping... except for Mannie... he sleeps on top of the nanner pile, with one eye open. he knows. DGS returns today. nanners to be shared, BF to be shared. He sure spends alot of time with those nanners when DGS isn't here - reclamation!!! and DGS scent removal. :lol: :lol: :lol: Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! DGS duty today - YAY!!! And then I am off for four days. No clue yet what we will do... i hope the weather isn't too bad or too cold so I can take him out to a lake, or better yet - another river! .. Take care everyone - I know I won't be able to visit condos until late in the evening, but do know that I am thinking of you all. Think BLUE, think GREEN kitties!!

Hey - how about the beach today - maybe some grillin' on one of them open pit fires - and some sand playin' and well all that cool beach stuff. What'd'ya guys think? Hi Michelle, I'm so sorry abour your friend's furkid. I can't begin to imagine the heartache he's going thru. So devastating and how terrible the driver didn't stop! My condolences to your friend.

Um Mannie??? Did you hear that buddy? More juice is on the way. Yay for the kitty choir! Turnup has started her own version where she walks on our heads every morning at 3 am and cries and cries. What the heck? DH says she is just being sweet. I think she is trying to figure out how to off me so she can have him all to herself. :lol:

Hope you have a wonderful day with DGS today no matter what you do! He is growing up so fast and that smile is beautiful.

How sad on your friends kitten. I know you were a comfort to him last night, but when you truly care the loss is so overwhelming.

Nice to see Mannie in blue again, i guess he read the condo. Keep coming down big guy.

Hi Michelle & Mannie,

What a tragedy. We are so sorry to hear about your friend's kitty. Please convey our deepest sympathy to him. I know that there is a special place at the Bridge for those kitties who go ahead before their time. All of our GAs will take good care of this newest angel.

Those pics of Nicholas are wonderful. I hope that you will have a good hike today, too. What a lucky kid he is to have a grandma like you!

Mannie, a dose increase for you this weekend?? Gotta find some greens again. Today looks like a promising start!

168 @ PMPS. It's been, finally (!!) a good ay for Nannie! BLUES, and GREENS! Perhaps someone has been reading his condo.....

Thanks all for visiting Mannie while I cared for DGS. Today's adventure was a trip to the science center ehre. He had a good time - some of the stuff was beyond his 10 months, bur we did find alot of tings that he really enjoyed.

Forgive my speedo version of an update for Mannie.... Thanks Roni, Anne, Sherry, Ella, Devon, Pat, Iorwen, Ann, Melissa, Linda, and Ann - your posts are appreciated!! I especially thank you all for the well wishes for my friend. He so misses his kitty, but wanted me to thank you all for your well wishes. They do mean alot, especially coming for people he does not know. Things are OK today for him. I am sure he will grieve for a while. -- I was glad to see the blues and the dip into the greens today - what a relief. We will see what he does tonight,and tomorrow before deciding on a dose change.
Melissa - too funny with Turnup and the 3AM head walks. :shock: :lol:

So great to see Mannie in blue ALL day today and starting last night!!! Hip Hip Hooray for Mannie the blue kitty!! I hope he comes on down and joins Tess and Gracie.

Love the photos of DGS.....what a smile on that child!!!! It must be for a special person....like his grandmother!!

Mannie...what a day!! I got my fur all wet when it rained on the beach and Tobey's feet are M-U-D-D-Y!!! I think it will be better jumping in leaves tomorrow at Willies but remember it scares Willie?????

Hi Michelle, great to see Mannie come down to blues and greens today. Glad you and DGS had a nice time at the science fair, too. Really cute pics of Nicholas, especially the last one taking off his shoes. Looks like your weather was okay. I got caught in a downpour of rain today, totally unexpected, as i didn't pay attention to the weather. Hope Mannie keeps on surfing nice numbers.
