Some good news and some things to still worry about this morning.

Luna's electrolytes are holding in normal range with a small amount of supplements, and potassium even increased to 4.6. we started with 120ml of supplements and we're down to 17ml today. They're going to try to stop completely and see how things go.

Now the not so good. The hematocrit is down to 12.1% this morning. They've been telling us under 12% is when we consider transfusion, so we're really close. They want to wait and test again tomorrow because the potassium is in a good range now and the reticulocytes are really high (90,000+). High end of normal I think is around 60,000, so her body is trying real hard. I think it was Friday they were just starting to be detected again, so they have to have some kind of effect soon. I'm going to speak to the doctor at some point today to get more information.

Other than the red blood cells, she's looking really good. Just need to figure out this last part.

Luna sounds like she is doing very well :bighug:. Sending more healing energy her way in hopes that the red blood cells get their act together & follow suit with the rest of her body :p! If they don’t, the fact that everything is else is nice & stable & she is much stronger now is really good if they need to do a transfusion. Sending more prayers your way!!
