Good Morning. Well, yesterday was Jades 1st curve after one week at .5 and she ran pretty high all day. As expected, vet says go to 1 unit today and not to shoot if her BG falls under 200. If you read my thread from yesterday, you can see how conflicted I am about this. However, I will try the 1 unit with knowing that I have the digital caliper already primed at .75 and sitting on the counter. I will test her today at +3 and again at +5 before leaving for work. That will give me enough time to reach out for help in case I need to leave out some MC food.

Her numbers are high enough that this time an increase to 1.0 is probably fine but you need more than one test at night and every cycle. I have to wonder why you are worried about what will happen during the day but not at night while you are sleeping.

I worry ALL THE TIME.
 
Yes. Lantus onset is around +2 but not for all. So she what happens at +3 next time. Max onset +2.5 or +3 so for him unless low at preshot +1-2 didn’t tell me much. Experiment at different times to see when Jade onsets. Max often good a big food bump.
